My Stash Update!

Happy Friday lovelies, sorry for the no post yesterday, I broke and chipped a couple nails Wednesday so didn't feel like painting them. Today I don't have any nails to share either, but I hope to get some for next week being themed for the 4th of July!

Today I wanted to do my update from a year ago on my nail stash. You can see my first stash post here, I had a total of  147 polishes back than! Earlier this year I changed my polish set up and posted that, you can view it here. I haven't changed my set up at all, having it arrange this way makes it really simple for me. I do have my wall shelf filled up with new holo's and texture polishes tho.

The new information I have for you today is my current nail polish count! I must say that it would defiantly be higher if I haven't been restricting myself for past two months. Also I did not add in any polishes I owned for awhile but gave away in giveaways or to my sister. My grand total for polished I currently own, and this is no joke, I have exactly 400 polishes!

I more than doubled from last year... not sure how I feel about that. :D How many polishes do you own? Have a wonderful weekend!!

Recycle Accent Nail Mani

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

I don't have much to say about today's mani, so quick post with mostly pictures. I decided to recycle my accent nail from yesterday for today's design.

Zoya: Yana
Color Club: Harp on It
Icing: Glamorous

I was being lazy and didn't want to remove the glitter so adding new color and holo dots was the quickest design I could think of. Enjoy your day!

Ascending/Descending Glequins

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

HAPPY FRIDAY!! I am just a bit excited for this weekend if you can't tell. I have a fully booked weekend, which I have for the past 7 weekends, but this one just seems more exciting.  I probably will be changing my nails tonight for my weekend mani but here is what I have on now.

Color Club: Wild Cactus

I call this ascending/descending glequins since going pinky to pointer more of the nail gets filled with glequins. I randomly came up with this idea when I applied Wild Cactus and started at my nail art box to figure out what I can combing with it. I don't use much 3D items and since I knew I was only wearing this a day I figured safe bet for them to last a day. Not exactly sure how I feel about the design concept, but atleast my nails are really shiny!! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Orange Fishtail

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Happy Thursday lovelies, I am super excited for this weekend! I have been so busy this week and have felt so uninspired so I have another quick mani to share. I was literally staring at my polish collection and just waiting for an idea to pop in my head. After 10 minutes I finally narrowed it down to using orange and here is what mani I decided to wear (after 4 fail mani's).

Lime Crime: Peaches n Cream
NYC: Orange Traffic Jame
Color Club: Sparkle and Soar

I don't wear orange much so this mani is a little weird to me, I do love an easy fishtail mani tho! I am hoping I get some more inspiration soon, and maybe some free time will help that! What do you do when you feel uninspired?

Holo with Laser Optics

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Happy Tuesday lovelies!! I feel fully recovered after my crazy weekend, boy yesterday was truly a Monday. Since I was tired out yesterday I tried to think of a really simple mani to do last night. I decided using nail foils would be perfect, but I didn't get the foil to transfer perfect so I added some saran wrap design to it. Let's see how it turned out!

Color Club: Eternal Beauty
Nail Foil: Laser Optics

My middle and ring finger started out with the nail foil, I wanted to create accent nails next to the holo. This is a very subtle look and really I probably should of stamped to add more design but I was too tired :S Even though this is a more simple design to what I normally wear I still enjoy looking at my nails cause of the holo polish! Do you ever just feel to tired to do your nails?

First Skittlette

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Good Morning and Happy Monday readers, I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend! I had a crazy busy weekend and am tired out already for this work week. Today I am trying out the skittlette design technique that Marta from Chit Chat Nails is famous for. She recently had a tutorial of how to create a successful skittlette mani, you can find it here. In short the difference between a skittle mani and a skittlette is that instead of all different nails (skittle mani) it has two sets of alike designs with one different BUT in the end all the designs look pleasing together.

piCture pOlish: Coral Reef
OPI: Golden Ryder
Sinful Colors: Black on Black and White on White
Cheeky Jumbo: European Romance

One set of my alike designs is the two stamped nails than the other set is the coral with stud that is on both pointer and thumb nail. I choose a simply black and white design with coral and gold since they coordinate well together. I defiantly love how this turned out but to get even better ideas on skittlette mani's you must visit Chit Chat Nails, all of Marta's designs are gorgeous!

Sat-ART-Day: Dotting Tools

Today's theme for Sat-ART-Day is Dotting Tools!! I realized when doing this challenge that I barely ever use my dotting tools.  I didn't do anything to complicated which really any mani with dotting tools is pretty easy. If you don't have dotting tools use items like pencil eraser, matches, pins, etc.

Zoya: Kristen and Natty
Butter LONDON: Matte Finish

Simple dots are so adorable! I kind of feel like my nails have chicken pocks, makes me giggle. You can do this with any color combination and I bet you will get lots of compliments! Check out the others dotting tool mani's below!!

Neon Weave Pattern

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png
Happy Thursday, only one more day to get thru till the weekend! As I mentioned in my post yesterday I have another neon mani to share with you today. This design was inspired by the middle finger on this mani. Although that entire mani is gorgeous I loved the weave pattern and decided to do two accent nails in that pattern.

Studio M: Total Wow
Color Club: Lava Lamp
Sinful Colors: White on White

The bottom picture better represents the colors, some reason lighting is better at that angle. Also the orange is way more bright and neon. My freehand lines are a little wobbly but I still love how this turned out. Have you enjoyed my last two neon mani's?

Neon Freehand Chevron

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Today I am breaking back into neons, in fact tomorrow I'll have another neon mani! My design today was inspired by this mani. I really loved the edgyness of the freehand chevron and it looked simple to do so I just had to try it.

piCture pOlish: Violet Femme
Studio M: Neon Green
Sinful Colors: White on White

My chevron isn't the best, I really need to find a better detailing brush. I absolutely love the color combination of neon green and purple, I know I will be using these colors a lot this summer. This design was super simple to achieve and just imagine all the color combination possibilities!

Candy with Hard Candy Sprinkle

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png
Good Morning lovelies, today I have a cute candy mani design. I was going thru my polishes and realized I haven't used many of my Hard Candy polishes more than once, so I decided to come up with a candy theme using one of the sprinkle polishes.

Hard Candy: Pixie Pink
Color Club: Foil Me Once
Kleancolor: Metallic Aqua
Sally Hansen: Silver Sweep
BM-306

I used the colors of the glitters in Pixie Pink to help me choose my coordinating polishes. Of course I took the literal meaning of Hard Candy and stamped with this fun candy image! This mani can sort of look mish mash but when you realize how I corilated it all, it makes more sense :D

Texture and Saran Wrap

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

I hope everyone had a great weekend and is ready for another work week! For my mani today I used a OPI Bond Girls Texture, I got myself four out of the collection a while ago and here is one that I was super excited for.

OPI: Pussy Galore
Sinful Colors: White on White
Lime Crime: Parfait Day

I really love this light pink texture, the shimmer is just gorgeous. I am super excited to try out the other three I got from this collection. Did you pick up any Bond Girl textures? Only 14 days left in my giveaway, if you haven't entered yet do so here!!

Born Pretty Store Pearl Rhinestone, Review

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png photo button_zpsc89bd61d.png

Yay it's Friday lovelies, and I have a fun weekend with a wedding tomorrow! I recently got some Pearl Rhinestones from Born Pretty Store to review and I knew I just had wear them to match my dress for the wedding. Below is my review of these gorgeous pearls.

The Pearl Rhinestones come in this nail art wheel (shown above) with regular nail glue. You can see there are three sizes (shown to the left) to choose from, which is great for versatility. Each size comes with a large amount of pearls that I can see lasting a long time. Whether you like big 3D nail art or more subtle 3D nail art these will work great. Below is a look I came up with.
Bad Lighting :S

China Glaze: Life is Rosy
Sinful Colors: White on White
Cheeky Jumbo: Home Sweet Home

Since I prefer the more subtle 3D nail art I choose to use the Medium and Small size pearls for this look. I wanted to create a half moon and later realized this makes it look like a pearl necklace :D Below is a picture to show how much they stick off the nail.

You can see they don't stick off the nail, much at all. I applied one coat of Out the Door on top and they don't catch on hair or clothing. It is also give the perfect amount of texture to the touch, in fact I like to randomly feel my nail :D This whole mani looks perfect next to my rosey lace dress!

I absolutely love these Pearl Rhinestones, and for only $4.44 they are a steal! The Born Pretty Store really has so much to offer in nail art items, they also offer free International shipping. Make sure to use my coupon code below for 10% off!!

Have a wonderful weekend!!
