Born Pretty Store Feather Polish, Review

 photo button_zpsc89bd61d.png photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Good morning lovelies, hope your Wednesday is off to a good start. Today I have some swatches of new Feather polishes from the Born Pretty Store. Feather polishes are becoming a huge trend like textures polishes, I have been on the fence with these glitters and decided to give them a try.

There are 8 different colors in the feather collection and I have the two above to share with you. I am very pleased with the size of these bottles, below are my swatches.

Lime Crime: Lavendairy
piCture pOlish: Violet Femme
Feather #8

This one is my favorite of the two, obviously because it is purple. The formula was a tad thicker then blue feather, but was still very easy to apply. Below is some macro images with bottle shot as well.

For being my first feather polish I am a huge fan! Next I have the blue feather to share with you.

Lime Crime: Once in a Blue Mousse
Kiss Nail Art: Soft Blue
Feather: #1

I also really like this color combination. The light blue with white is very summery. I had no problems with this formula. Below is some macro images with bottle shot as well.

One thing to point out about these polishes is that they are very shiny. From other swatches I have seen of these feather type polishes they aren't usually glittery. I think it was great they added to this finish. I just may pick up a couple more of these polishes!

These polishes are currently on sale for 3.99, normally 4.99. You can purchase these colors here, as well as check out the other 6 available color combinations. The Born Pretty Store really has so much to offer in nail art items, they also offer free International shipping. Floral Matching Glitter

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Happy Monday lovelies! Hopefully everyone had a fun weekend, we had rainy weather so I had all my fun inside. Today I have a mani that I matched some floral to my glitter. Chalkboard Nails did this last week and it is genius! I went thru my glitters and found a gorgeous one that I haven't even used yet!

Hard Candy: Pee Wee Purple
Sally Hansen: Brisk Blue
Lime Crime: Parfait Day
Sinful Colors: White on White
Elixir Lacquers: Elixiversary

I recently got a Macro lens for my phone, and wanted to try it out with this glitter, so here is an extra pic!

I really love the combination of purple, blue, and pink. Having the glitter to work off of was great inspiration! Pee Wee Purple is also an amazing purple polish, it is super shiny. Have a great work week!

Dotted Lined Ruffian

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Happy Friday lovelies! I have a fun easy mani that I did last weekend during camping. I wanted to do just a quick design but then I decided to give it more glam an add some dots.

China Glaze: Refresh Mint
Color Club: Over the Moon
Sally Hansen: Brisk Blue

This mani was perfect for the beach of course cause of the amazing hologram! I am a huge fan of how the dots line the ruffian really adds to the design. I hope everyone enjoys the last weekend in July, this summer is flying by way to fast!

Freehand Herringbone Nails, Quick Post

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Hello my lovelies! I have been gone way to long :( As I have been updating on Facebook I am still not happy with my nail length after it broke on the 4th of July weekend.  This past weekend I went camping with my family and we had some cold weather so I gave in and painted my nails. I wanted to quickly share my design and you can also see how short my nail still is... I also took this picture with my phone so the quality is not the best.

I didn't write down the colors, so sorry about that. This design was inspired by this mani done by Lucy Stash. Isn't sad how short my ring nail is! I have been trying everything and it's been almost three weeks now! Below I have a bonus pic of the mani I did for my brothers fiance.

I did this mani to match her swimsuit, which is shown. I really loved the combination of neon green with white and black. Also check out her gorgeous engagement ring! :D

I plan on doing the Herringbone pattern again when my nails are all the same length and I can also get a better picture. I have missed painting my nails so much I have decided to get back into blogging even tho they aren't the best nails. I have a lot of polish to be swatched for you also, that I am waiting for my nail to grow back for. Till than I may have a couple posts a week!

Micro Steel Beads Review

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png photo button_zpsc89bd61d.png

I don't know about you but boy I wish it was still the weekend! Never the less we have arrived to another Monday. I have a review of 3D steel ball caviar beads from the Born Pretty Store to show you today.

These beads came in small Ziploc bags and I transferred them into this nail decoration wheel. There are 12 colors, and each one has a fair amount beads. Below is how I used them for a mani.

Rue 21: Cotton Candy
piCture pOlish: Honey Dew

Here is a close up to see how far these beads stick up off the nail. They stay very well intact with one layer of top coat. I also didn't notice any of them catching on clothing or my hair.

To purchase this set of Steel Caviar Beads for only $3.33 click here. The Born Pretty Store really has so much to offer in nail art items, they also offer free International shipping. Make sure to use my coupon code below for 10% off!!

Happy 4th of July lovelies!! I hope everyone is able to celebrate with family or friends. I am headed out to the lake with some friends. My mani today is shiny with red white and blue all over!

Sinful Colors: White on White
Butter LONDON: Pillar Box Red
Sally Hansen: Brisk Blue
Cheeky Jumbo: Happy Holidays

This is defiantly my favorite of my four themed mani's. I can't wait see this mani sparkle in the sun this weekend! I have a super busy weekend planed so there wont be any post till Monday. Everyone have a safe and fun 4th of July weekend!

Texture Red, White, and Blue and Stud Review

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png photo button_zpsc89bd61d.png

I hope you aren't sick of my themed mani's this week, just two more to share with you. Tomorrow is the 4th, and today is my Friday! For my mani today I have a review of some white square studs from Born Pretty Store

This pack comes with 300 studs and I used them to create my own color studs by painting over the white, check out how it looks below.

Zoya: Liberty and Chyna
OPI: Solitaire

I absolutely love how this mani turned out! These studs are easy to apply and having a white base makes it super easy to paint them any color you want to match a mani. I painted them after I applied them to my nail, but next time I'll prob paint before I apply. Also since I used texture polish I have double textured studs! By painting these studs it really saves on having to buy specific colored studs to match a mani, you have much more possibilities this way also!

To purchase these 300 studs for only $4.84 click here. The Born Pretty Store really has so much to offer in nail art items, they also offer free International shipping. Make sure to use my coupon code below for 10% off!!

Star Centered Pin Wheels

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png
Happy Tuesday/Thursday readers! More red white and blue to be seen today, I was inspired for this pinwheel design by Chalkboard Nails, I thought it would be perfect with a star rhinestone in the middle. This was done free handed, and sadly my camera doesn't capture red very well.

Orly: Star Spangled
Sinful Colors: White on White
China Glaze: Blue Iguana

I really enjoy looking at this mani from far away, so psychedelic. I had no idea this was going to turn out so well, I wish I did this for my actual 4th mani. Tomorrow I have a more simple look to achieve. I just love red, white, and blue together!

Ruffian Stars and Stripes

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Happy Monday lovely readers, I am super excited for this week since its a 3 day work week!! I hope all of you also get to enjoy the 4th of July with a short work week. For the next 4 days I will be sporting red, white, and blue! Today, I have a fun abstract design inspired by the American flag.

Butter LONDON: Pillar Box Red
Sinful Colors: White on White
OPI: DS Magic
Sally Hansen: Silver Sweep
CH10 and CH5

I love how the stripes turned out, but I had problems stamping with my Silver Sweep. I may need to find a new silver polish to stamp with, any suggestions? I was super excited for this design, and even more excited for the other three I have to show you!
