Damask Skittlette

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Today I have yet another skittlette... small confession, I am obsessed!! I have been having so much fun combining colors and designs with doing skittlettes that I just can't stop. I think I need an intervention! Luckily coming up in September I will be joining a challenge which will hopefully help me to think out of the box. For this mani I was inspired by my blog design, since I want a mani to place on some business cards. Lets see how it turned out.

Zoya: Monica and Auroa
China Glaze: White on White

I am sad that Monica looks much darker on my two damask pattern nails, compared to my gradient with it. When colors do this to me it makes me so angry.  Overall I am not loving this mani, and now I have to re think a design to put on my buisness cards.. any ideas for me?
Have a great day!

Leafy Skittlette

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Happy Hump Day! I have a quick Skittlette to share with you today. I was recently inspired by color combinations of dark and light green with gold and figured a skittlette is the perfect way to combine these colors.

OPI: Live and Let Die
Essie: Good as Gold
Sally Hansen: Jade Jump
Cheeky Jumbo: Home Sweet Home

I had no idea that Jade Jump would stamp so well, I guess Insta Dries really are the queen for stamping. I am also a huge fan of the leafy stamp. Enjoy your day!

Halo Black Spotted

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Today I am sharing my first use of OPI Black Spotted. Few weeks ago Zulily had it on sale and I had to grab it, I am so happy I did! I heard that you have to apply very thin coats to achieve maximum spots and as you will see I got the hang after my pinky nail.

Color Club: Miss Bliss
OPI: Black Spotted

I am so impressed with Black Spotted, it even dried faster than any polish I have.  I am excited to try this polish over many types of base colors. I love it over this halo polish tho! I hope everyone has a great day!

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Happy Friday!! I have a fun weekend ahead of me, celebrating my boyfriend going to college. Luckily he will only be an hour away :) Also I will be going to my one of my Dad's civil war reenactments. For my weekend nails I decided to do some accent stamped nails with my favorite Pixie Dust.

Zoya: Carter
Hard Candy: Pee Wee Purple
Color Club: Mod in Manhattan
Cheeky Jumbo: Wild at Heart

Gosh Carter is just an amazing color, I added top coat to this mani to make the glitters really pop! I also am finally proud to say my nails are back to great shape since my mishap in the beginning of July :D. Have a great weekend lovelies!

Silvermint Skittlette

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Good morning lovelies, man I am so exhausted from these past two work days, it seems like it should be Friday already! I recently took advantage of a deal for two Pop polishes for only 2.95. I wanted to share my favorite of the two polishes with a cute skittlette mani.

Pop: Torquise
Sally Hansen: Silver Sweep
Milani: Lite Brite

I really loved this color by Pop, and I was happy with the formula.  This mani is super fun and was so simple to achieve. I am really obsessed with doing skittlette mani's now.

Wanderlust Waterfall

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Today I have some amazing pastel/neons from Color Club that I purchased. These are from the Wanderlust Collection which is a birchbox exclusive mini set. I also included a new nail art design that is very popular right now thanks to The Nailasaurus who came up with the Waterfall design. My pictures are taken outside in natural light, since my camera couldn't capture how neon these colors are in my light box.

Color Club: London Calling,  Reign in Spain, Pardon My French, and Mod in Manhattan

Ok can you see why I am totally obsessed with this collection!?!  My favorite is defiantly Reign in Spain it's the perfect coral pastel/neon. Formula on these were also amazing with two coats for full opacity. I really want full size bottles of this whole collection!

Born Pretty Store: Sparkle Yogurt Milky Glitter Polish, Review

 photo button_zpsc89bd61d.png

Happy Monday Lovelies, I hope you enjoyed your weekend. Mine was laid back with lots of sun bathing :D Today I have a polish set from the Born Pretty Store to review for you. I really like polishes that give you the look of a jelly sandwich, and these are adorable pastels with that finish!

First up is my mani with these four beauties. Below are some macros with bottle shots! These don't have names and they were all the same for application, which I will review at the end of this post.

I really love these four colors together and the finish is gorgeous. My favorite would have to be the pinky/peach one.

Application was great and even having smaller brushes didn't cause any difficulties. Each swatch is with two coats and top coat. I am very happy with these polishes and can see them being fun for spring.

These polishes are 7.99 and can purchased here. The Born Pretty Store really has so much to offer in nail art items, they also offer free International shipping. Make sure to use my coupon code below for 10% off!!

Matte vs Shiny Squares

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Morning lovelies, I have a mani to share with you today that I did a week or two ago and just found on my usb card. I don't remember exactly what made me think to do this squarish design, but it did turn out kind of neat. I also played with having it matte or shiny, lets see which looks better.

China Glaze: White on White
NYC: Sidewalkers
Zoya: Mira

Now for the Matte Version

butter LONDON: Matte Finish

Hmmmm this is a toughy, I always like white when matte but I think I like the purple being shinny. For me its a toss up, which do you prefer? Have a super awesome weekend!

Gradient Satin Stamping

 photo button_zpsc89bd61d.png photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Wahooo its almost Friday!! This work week hasn't been to bad so far, but I am excited to have a weekend off with no plans :D My mani today is using all of the Zoya: Satin colors to stamp with. I am very pleased with the results, check it out below!

Zoya: Farrah, Mason, Claudine, Channing, Neve, and Giovanna
Cheeky Jumbo: Happy Nails

As you can see I had a few issues with my stamper, but that wasn't caused from the polish. They do stamp a little lighter than their opacity color and you loose the metallic finish. These will be fun to use with corresponding colors.
