 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png photo button_zpsc89bd61d.png

Happy Thursday lovelies! I am very ready for this work week to be over, how about you? One of my last Shimmer polishes is Nichole, which is a very patriotic polish. Nichole is a red, silver and blue melange glitter polish.

Shimmer: Nichole

This is the perfect glitter for a patriotic mani, which means I need to add stars!

I am positive I will get lots of use out of this polish, since I love red white and blue together! As with all of these Shimmers, application was perfect.

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Happy 4th of July lovelies!! I hope everyone is able to celebrate with family or friends. I am headed out to the lake with some friends. My mani today is shiny with red white and blue all over!

Sinful Colors: White on White
Butter LONDON: Pillar Box Red
Sally Hansen: Brisk Blue
Cheeky Jumbo: Happy Holidays

This is defiantly my favorite of my four themed mani's. I can't wait see this mani sparkle in the sun this weekend! I have a super busy weekend planed so there wont be any post till Monday. Everyone have a safe and fun 4th of July weekend!

Texture Red, White, and Blue and Stud Review

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png photo button_zpsc89bd61d.png

I hope you aren't sick of my themed mani's this week, just two more to share with you. Tomorrow is the 4th, and today is my Friday! For my mani today I have a review of some white square studs from Born Pretty Store

This pack comes with 300 studs and I used them to create my own color studs by painting over the white, check out how it looks below.

Zoya: Liberty and Chyna
OPI: Solitaire

I absolutely love how this mani turned out! These studs are easy to apply and having a white base makes it super easy to paint them any color you want to match a mani. I painted them after I applied them to my nail, but next time I'll prob paint before I apply. Also since I used texture polish I have double textured studs! By painting these studs it really saves on having to buy specific colored studs to match a mani, you have much more possibilities this way also!

To purchase these 300 studs for only $4.84 click here. The Born Pretty Store really has so much to offer in nail art items, they also offer free International shipping. Make sure to use my coupon code below for 10% off!!

Star Centered Pin Wheels

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png
Happy Tuesday/Thursday readers! More red white and blue to be seen today, I was inspired for this pinwheel design by Chalkboard Nails, I thought it would be perfect with a star rhinestone in the middle. This was done free handed, and sadly my camera doesn't capture red very well.

Orly: Star Spangled
Sinful Colors: White on White
China Glaze: Blue Iguana

I really enjoy looking at this mani from far away, so psychedelic. I had no idea this was going to turn out so well, I wish I did this for my actual 4th mani. Tomorrow I have a more simple look to achieve. I just love red, white, and blue together!

Ruffian Stars and Stripes

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Happy Monday lovely readers, I am super excited for this week since its a 3 day work week!! I hope all of you also get to enjoy the 4th of July with a short work week. For the next 4 days I will be sporting red, white, and blue! Today, I have a fun abstract design inspired by the American flag.

Butter LONDON: Pillar Box Red
Sinful Colors: White on White
OPI: DS Magic
Sally Hansen: Silver Sweep
CH10 and CH5

I love how the stripes turned out, but I had problems stamping with my Silver Sweep. I may need to find a new silver polish to stamp with, any suggestions? I was super excited for this design, and even more excited for the other three I have to show you!

Independence Day

Right hand (I'm left handed)
Tomorrow is the Independence day for the USA! Many bloggers are showing their spirit with there red, white, and blue manis. Hopefully you aren't sick of them by now cause I have mine to share. This is a full on nail art mani, lots of freehand :S.
For red nails base coat is China Glaze: Red Pearl I added Orly: Star Spangled (how fitting!) on top to add sparkly. For blue nails base coat was China Glaze: Frostbite and topped that with Blue Iguana to also add sparkle. I taped off lines with striping tape and used Sally Hansen French White Tip as white. I needed a very opaque white so no red would show thru. Than I top coated with Out the Door. Using my Nail Art Club Duo Pens Black I wrote America and USA, than with the white I free handed stars. Top Coat again of Out the Door.

Left hand :S
I am left handed so you barely see the left hand, but I decided that this one turned out well enough to show! You better bet I had to think of a smaller word than America to write on this hand since I was writing with my right hand, lol. My original plan was to stamp on stars, but can you believe out of the entire Bundle Monster set there wasn't a full nail let alone a single star stamp? This was very disappointing to me. In the end it turned out well so I guess no complaints here!
Is this in the top 10 as best 4th of July Mani? Everyone have a great 4th!
