Pastel Easter Eggs

 ~nothing to disclose~

Morning! I have my first Easter mani today, I can't believe it's already Easter this weekend. I will probably only have one more themed mani before the holiday. I made some decals with pastel colors for this mani.

Negative Space Red & White Hearts

Hello Lovelies! How fitting is that for this Valentine week? ;) My mani today is all hearts and red. I was inspired by One Nail To Rule Them All for today's mani. She has a great tutorial on negative space mani's, even with her doing a heart shape.

 Butter London: Pillar Box Red
Cosmetic Arts: Picture Day
Pueen55

I added glequins instead of outlining my heart, thought it gives more sparkle! This heart stamp is part of the new Pueen buffet stamping set, so far I love that set there are so many options! For being my first negative space mani I am sort of digging this idea. I have entered this mani into a contest #RINAILART, wish me luck!
Have you tried this technique? Whats your thought on negative space mani's?

Teal Cheetah

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Good Morning Lovelies, Happy Monday as well. Friday we had negative temps and today I have a snow day! The Mayor actually declared a snow emergency since we got over a foot of snow! My mani today is taking it back to the basics. Remember when doing a simple full stamped mani was all the rage? O and if it was cheetah print it was even cooler! Well I have just the mani to bring back those flashbacks ;)

Opi: Ski Teal we Drop
Butter London: West End Wonderland
Essie: Good as Gold

Can you also see the glitter gradient I added under the stamping? I wanted to bling it up alittle :D When I completed this mani I realized I hadn't used the cheetah stamp in over a year! How crazy is that?

Snowman in the Snow

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Happy Friday Lovelies!!! It's the last weekend before Christmas. Hope you have got your shopping done so you can now enjoy the Holiday's :D I really love my mani today it features the snow like China Glaze Texture.  I really debated getting this polish several times cause of the bad reviews but I am so happy I got it anyways.

I really had no problem with application for Theres Snow One Like You. You apply it like a glitter with one normal application than dab it on for your second coat. It is absolutely gorgeous also, so if you haven't gotten yours yet I HIGHLY suggest you grab it before its gone!
Have a wonderful weekend!

Candy Cane

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

My mani today contains my favorite candy at Christmas time. Candy Canes! Who doesn't enjoy trying to stick the whole top/curved part of the cane into you mouth? I know that's what I have always done since my childhood. :D

I choose to combine all three of the popular cane designs in nail art. I free handed the swirl with using a striping brush. One more day of work this week till 12 days off!! :D

Black, Tree and Presents

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

It is officially a week till Christmas! My mani today is a tad different then your cheerful red, green, and white Christmas mani. I recently bought one of the new Sally Hansen Suedes and really wanted to try it out so I decided to do a dark/black Christmas design.

I still incorporated a little red and green on my ring and middle finger with the ulta polishes. I also really enjoyed this Sally Hansen Suede, it has a gorgeous shimmer!
How do you feel about this darker Christmas mani?

Coffee Skittlette

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Good Morning and Happy Thursday! I hope everyone's week has been flying by as fast as mine. Since it has been getting colder I have been starting to drink warm beverages like coffee and tea in the morning. Then I remembered seeing a coffee bean stamp and knew it would be perfect time for a coffee mani!

Butter London: All Hail the Queen
Zoya: Codie

I really love how cute that coffee mug stamp is. Also isn't the nude base color just gorgeous! I have had All Hail The Queen for probably a year now with out even using it! That is probably a crime in itself ;)

A Book 31DC2013 Mani

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Good Morning Lovelies, today the 31DC theme is inspired by a book. This was probably the hardest day for me so far since I am not an avid reader. The last books I read was 50 shades of Gray but I wanted to try to think of something not done already. I came up with the idea of the I Spy Books, from my childhood :) I searched Google and found one of the images I remember from when I was younger and tried to recreate it, check it out below.

Zoya: Darcy, Josie, Rocky, and Livingston
Orly: Jet Black

Can you find the bow or tack? I really love the turn out of this mani and am happy I came up with this idea.
Did you remember I Spy books?

A Song 31DC2013 Mani

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

"IT WAS 99 CENTS!" So who guessed it, what song am I inspired by for today's post? Thrift Shop by Macklemore! This song became popular a couple months ago but I am still obsesed with it. Below is the music video, so if your not familiar with the song you can listen to it and know how my nails represent it.

Color Club: Poetic Hues
OPI: Dont Pretzel my Buttons
Zoya: Neely and Hunter
Kleancolor: Metallic Saphire
Essie: Good as Gold
butter London: Matte Finish

Ok so let me break down what part of the song each nail represents. Starting with the pinkie and ring nail there is a jean pocket and $20 symbol which goes with "only got $20 in my pocket." Middle nail is a tag symbol which goes with " I'm gonna pop some tags." Lastly pointer is 99 cents symbol which, as mentioned above, goes with "It was 99 cents!"

I am totally in love with these nails, and super excited how I thought of this design. I hope you are now also obsessed with this song :D Enjoy what's left of your weekend!

Tribal Print 31DC2013 Mani

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Good Morning Lovelies, boy am I not ready for a new work week. I had such a great weekend and really could use couple more hours of sleep. My mani for tribal print nails is rather simple, I used my Orly Artist in black and white and drew random designs... not my favorite look.

China Glaze:  To Yacht To Handle
Orly: Crisp White and Jet Black
Butter London: Matte Effect

I never have been a huge fan of doing tribal print since its takes alot of work, and you have to be good at scribing sort of. O well, that's what these challenges are for! Have a great day.

Matte vs Shiny Squares

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Morning lovelies, I have a mani to share with you today that I did a week or two ago and just found on my usb card. I don't remember exactly what made me think to do this squarish design, but it did turn out kind of neat. I also played with having it matte or shiny, lets see which looks better.

China Glaze: White on White
NYC: Sidewalkers
Zoya: Mira

Now for the Matte Version

butter LONDON: Matte Finish

Hmmmm this is a toughy, I always like white when matte but I think I like the purple being shinny. For me its a toss up, which do you prefer? Have a super awesome weekend!

Rainbow Herringbone

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Wahoo its Friday! Did everyone else work week go as slow as mine? As usual I am ready for two days off and the weather even looks to be pretty nice, but living in Michigan who knows! Yesterday I changed my nail shape into more oval and I am actually enjoying this shape, I find that it may be easier to manage as well :D For my mani I wanted to do another Herringbone but with rainbow colors and I love how it turned out!

butter LONDON: Pillar Box Red
NYC: Orange Traffic Jam
Color Club: Almost Famous
Zoya: Shawn and Mira
Loreal: Jet Set to Paris
Sinful Colors: White on White

I did a saran mani underneath the herringbone and was tempted to leave it just like that. Do you like my oval nail shape? What nail shape do you prefer? Have a great weekend!
