 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png photo button_zpsc89bd61d.png

Morning lovelies! I have a PSA this morning for anyone ever considering moving to Michigan. Here is a taste of our weather, mid march with 40 degrees yesterday and this morning woke up to 5 inches of snow... DON'T MOVE HERE! I am so over winter at this point, anyone else experiencing this type of weather? Anyways, we are already half way thru Shimmer week :(. Not to worry tho still few more days full of glitter! Today I have Jennifer which is a soft blue, periwinkle glitter polish.

Shimmer: Jennifer
One coat over Zoya: Kendal
When I have a glitter base I always love adding a dot gradient on top, which is what I decided to do with Jennifer

Zoya: Rocky
 Sinful Colors: White on White

I would have to say this is the most interesting color combination for a glitter. This is another reason why I love Shimmer polishes, they are very unique.

Zoya Spring Water Marble

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Good Morning, hope everyone's morning has started off great! We got another 3 inches of snow last night so I had to shouvel to get to work and the roads weren't scrapped yet. Although since it is about 20 degrees it really wasn't terrible. My mani today is nothing like the weather outside, I wore this on ground hog day hoping to get an early spring... but it wasn't predicted too :(

Zoya: Mira, Rocky, and Josie

I love how the water marble turned out, it has been way to many months since I have done one of those. I think it has brought back my love of a beautiful water marble. Also as you can see my pointer finger has taken a break :( Does anyone else have that one nail that refuses to grow?

Valentine Nail Art Challenge: Dotticure

How is everyone today!?! I am so happy that it is finally friday I feel like this week has taken forever. I had an eventful morning, waking up to about 6-8inches of snow and had to shovel my drive way to get into work. I was only 15min late! Anyways this valentine challenge is almost over as we are inching our way to the day! I had alot of fun with this mani, it's super cute :)

Base color is Wet n Wild Megalast: Undercover, used China Glaze: White on White, Sally Girl: Neon Pink and Top Coat of Out the Door.

Dot gradient with some hearts! I wish my base color was just alittle more red, but I wanted to use an older polish. I hope everyone has better weather than me and that you all have a fun weekend!!

Models Own, Swatch and Nail Art

Wahoo today I am showing you my first Models' Own polishes!! Couple months ago they had a sale for half off and figured I should grab some. I got five polishes and today I am showing you two, so far they are my favorites :)
First up is my swatch of Pinky Brown Beetle Juice. Shown is two coats with top coat of Out the Door. Great formula and brush was easy to use.
I than used Mystic Mauve and created a gradient of dots starting at the base of the nail. Using large dotting tool first and moving to smaller as I reach the tip of the nail.
These colors are sooo shiny! I love deep burgundys and that is what Pinky Brown is. Also excited to use Mystic Mauve with other purples :)
Do you own any Models' Own? Which is your favorite?

Dot Gradient

I just got back from vacation!! Sorry about the absence, some fun mani will follow this week but for now here is a super easy and fun mani! Using dotting tools you create a gradient of large to small dots from the base to tip of your nail. I used three dot sizes, since my nails are shorter I didn't need to add to many.
All my colors are Zoya, base: Cho, dot colors: Shelby and Wednesday. Top coat of Out the Door
Cho is my first nude color, it was a great application with two coats. I like using a neutral color and adding some brighter colors to it. This will be a fun design to try with many different color combinations.
Any ideas on what colors I should do next?
