Color of the Year

~nothing to disclose~

Good Morning my lovelies! I am officially back at painting my nails this week. I took about 2 weeks off just cause I had no motivation and a few nail breaks. Now I am back with how I wore Pantones color of the year: Radiant Orchid.

nina ultra pro radiant orchid polka dots essie peak of chic plum to the earth sinful colors glitter accent nail color of the year pantone

Nina Pro: Plum To the Earth
Essie: Peak of Chic
Sinful Colors: White on White

Eventho I am just now wearing this color, it is by far one of my gems.  Also you probably can tell the change in lighting from my last mani, I finally have an OTT light! This is much closer to my actual skin color, and hopefully will help to get more color accurate photos in the future :D

Shimmer Bella

Morning! Hope you enjoyed my first Shimmer swatch yesterday, today I have the gorgeous Bella swatched. Bella is a red & black fine microglitter polish!

Shimmer: Bella
One coat shown over China Glaze: Prey Tell
I decided a V french tip would look great over this gorgeous oxblood glitter.

China Glaze: Can't Make me Wine
Essie: Penny Talk

I have to say this is the most gorgeous oxblood glitter I have seen. I am a huge fan of deep reds they make me feel sophisticated, not sure why lol. I also love the mirco silver glitters in Bella. Below are links where you can find Shimmer polishes.

BPS Rainbow Studs, Review

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png photo button_zpsc89bd61d.png

Morning! My mani today will be the last for alittle while. I just broke a couple of nails so I want to take some time to get them back into good health. I have a review of some rainbow like studs from the Born Pretty Store.  Below is a close up, you can see you get 10 studs.

I do wish they came more in a pack, if your like me you go thru studs like nail polish remover. I found that the stud design match a nail foil I had, so I choose to incorporate both into my mani.

China Glaze: Harmony
Kleancolor: Metallic Green and Aqua
Essie: Good as Gold
W111

Underneath the stamp I did a distressed mani using metallic's. These studs applied easily and they don't stick off the nail any different from other studs. I love the color of these studs, it's so much fun to see studs not just a solid color.

These studs are 3mm and you can get the same rainbow pattern in 5 other sizes here for only $2.63.  The Born Pretty Store really has so much to offer in nail art items, they also offer free International shipping. Make sure to use my coupon code below for 10% off!!

Blue Kissy Mani

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Happy Monday! I had the best birthday weekend since I can remember, and am so sad to see it already be another work week :( Atleast it is now valentines week so I can do some lovey mani's. My boyfriend got me some Mundo stamping polishes for my birthday, so I just had to try at least one of them out asap.

 OPI: Ski Teal We Drop
Essie: Dive Bar
Mundo 5
 BM-H17 and BM02

I can't believe how pigmented that blue is! I am so happy I got these stamping polishes, I even have more coming from my parents for my birthday!! It is sort of weird having a valentine mani without any pink or red.
Are you a huge valentine day fan?

Stamp Jelly Pixie

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Good Morning! I am pretty excited about my mani today. I used Tomoko from Zoya, which is the champagne pixie, and a jelly which creates your own color!

Zoya: Kennedy and Tomoko
Essie: Good as Gold
Jumbo Plate 8

Plus everyone likes a good macro shot every now and then :D

I love how you can keep the awesome sparkle from Tomoko but change the color :D I can already tell you I have a mani tomorrow with the same concept!

Teal Cheetah

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Good Morning Lovelies, Happy Monday as well. Friday we had negative temps and today I have a snow day! The Mayor actually declared a snow emergency since we got over a foot of snow! My mani today is taking it back to the basics. Remember when doing a simple full stamped mani was all the rage? O and if it was cheetah print it was even cooler! Well I have just the mani to bring back those flashbacks ;)

Opi: Ski Teal we Drop
Butter London: West End Wonderland
Essie: Good as Gold
Cheeky Jumbo 9

Can you also see the glitter gradient I added under the stamping? I wanted to bling it up alittle :D When I completed this mani I realized I hadn't used the cheetah stamp in over a year! How crazy is that?

Gold Holly and Tree's

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Merry Christmas Eve, just one more day!! I have a quite simple design for today. Apologies for the bad picture quality, using my phone with a light box my brother made since I am at my parents. I was struggling with ideas for one last mani so I did this simple design.

 Zoya: Livingston and Hunter
Essie: Good as Gold

Sometimes less is more, right? Enjoy your last day finishing up any loose ends for your celebrations tomorrow!
