BPS Gel Polish, Review +Youtube Tutorial

 photo button_zpsc89bd61d.png

How was everyone's weekend? I was able to relax and do lots of nail art. I even started my own youtube channel and posted my first tutorial, link will be below. My post today is a review of gel polish from the Born Pretty Store. I did a fun marble accent nail with the two colors I received.

#22 and #17

As mentioned in my video below, these polishes have an easy application. Each solid finger is with two coats. Check out the tutorial below on how to do these nails yourself!

You can get these two polishes here for only $7.29, there are nine different colors to choose from. The Born Pretty Store really has so much to offer in nail art items, they also offer free International shipping. Make sure to use my coupon code below for 10% off!!

Gel Removal/Black and White Texture

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Hello readers, I have gained quite a few new people from my giveaway that launched yesterday so just wanted to thank you each and welcome! First for this post I have a quick picture of my gel nails before I took them off. Then I finally have some  nail art to share :)

This picture is at 13 days of wear, you can see how there is no tip wear at all. All you really see is were I have regrowth and since I had such a clear color it really wasn't noticeable from far away. My other hand had just one nail that the gel lifted at the corner in the slightest way. Overall I am very impressed with gel nails, and I can see how handy they are for ladies that always want a well manicure hand :)

I have a quick mani done with a new OPI Bond Girl Texture and my new Cheeky Jumbo Plates.

OPI: Solitaire
Sinful Colors: Black on Black
Cheeky Jumbo Plate 3: European Elegance

I really like the white liquid sand since it is so elegant, also adding black details makes this mani pop. I also got three other Bond Girls and the entire set of Cheeky 2013 jumbo plates to play with. Having the gel nails for about 2 weeks really made me miss nail art! What is your favorite bond girl liquid sand?

First Gel Mani: French

Good Morning my lovely readers, I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. I had a super busy weekend with my cousins prom, saw Iron Man 3, and had a baby shower. My nails today (and last 6 days) have been a simple gel french mani. If you like my Facebook page you may have seen that I won a HUGE Gel Kit from Red Carpet Manicure for when I entered and won the March Mani Madness contest. I decided to do a french mani with one of the kits last Tuesday since I knew how busy I would be last week and this week. That being said this may be my only post this week :S Now for my nails lets see how well I did with my first gel mani!

LED Gel Polish: Nervous with Anticipation, White Hot, and Tinsel Town

Try to ignore my stained yellow nails, I thought Nervous with Anticipation would be more pinkish but it really is more clear. As I stated above I have had this mani for 6 days now and this is pictured at 6 days... no tip wear!! I also love how smooth and shiny they are. The steps to achieve this looks was a pretty long process I think when I get more practice it will go a little quicker. Overall I am very happy to try out gel nails and feel I may have to add some nail art into the gel look :) Have you tried out any Red Carpet Manicure products, or other gel polishes? What's your thoughts?
