Lacquer Legion: Garden

~Nothing To Disclose~

Happy Wednesday! My mani today was inspired by a fellow nail artist in one of my facebook groups. I also got lucky that this mani can count toward Lacquer Legions prompt today, which is garden.

China Glaze: Pool Party
Cosmetic Arts: Picture Day
Cheeky Jumbo 7

I really enjoyed the end result of this mani. It's sort of subtle nail art and also elongates your nails by having a brighter color at the tips of your nails. If you have a garden theme mani today make sure to take part in the Lacquer Legion!

Good Morning, I have a springy mani I wore this past weekend. It features a stamping plate from the Born Pretty Store. I also am using my first Cult Nails nail polish in this man. The two colors I used are part of their new collection, Its a New Day, which is the perfect spring collection.

Happy Valentines Day

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Happy Valentines Day to all those who are celebrating it, otherwise happy Friday! I have my final valentine mani that I will be wearing for the weekend. My plans are nothing major I wont see my boyfriend till 10:30 tonight anyways. I decided to do a gradient with textured polishes and add alittle heart.

 OPI: Pussy Galore
Zoya: Miranda and Chyna

I am surprisingly in love with how much pink this mani has. I top coated these textures since I really wanted to bring out the shine.
How are you or aren't you celebrating your Valentines Day?
Have a great weekend!!

Nail Painting Weekend with the Boyfriend

Hello lovelies! Since I didn't get a post edited for today (crazy morning) I thought I would post about my recently uploaded Youtube Video. Wait, did you know that I have a youtube channel now?!?! If not, check it out here.

To explain the video lets start from the top! My boyfriend has a youtube channel, where he does vlogs and skits. He is going to school for broadcasting and video production which is why he enjoys youtube. I thought about doing this collaboration when him and his sister were joking about him doing his nails, since she recently joined in on the fun of nail art.

Last weekend we made a two part video for both of our channels. His channel shows me teaching him each nail art style on HIS nails and mine shows HIM painting the same mani on my nails!! I can't even tell you how much fun it was to do this, you will have many laughs at his attempt and maybe learn some simple nail art styles from me teaching him :D

First watch his video learning how to do the nail art.

Now watch his attempt!

I had so much fun doing this, it still makes me laugh when I re watch them. I was proud of my boyfriend and I think he has lots of potential ;) Although these nails didn't last more than 10min on each of us it was totally worth it.
Have you ever had a guy try to paint your nails?

Ehhh..

Happy Friday!! My mani today (if you cant tell from the title) is interesting? I am just not sure what I would call this. It really didn't turn out like I thought it was going to, so I guess it is concerned a fail? You tell me what you think about it.

Zoya: Kennedy and Toni

I was going for a circle type gradient, but the colors I choose made it look like my nails were bleeding. I decided to add a stamp on top and it made me atleast like it somewhat.
Let me know how you feel about it and have a great weekend!

Miss Professional Nail, Sation Nail Polish, Review, Part 2

 photo button_zpsc89bd61d.png

Good Morning, I have my second part of my Sation polish review today. I also created some candy corn nail art with today's polish. If you missed the the first part of my sation review you can view it here.

Strumming My Nails- Creme White Polish

Shown is two coats with no top coat, this polish was perfect formula.

Money Badger- Orange, yellow, and light green multi shape glitter.

One coat over Strumming my Nails, applied easily and all the glitters laid flat.

Of course this glitter looks exactly like candy corn! I might have to use this glitter for my halloween mani :D

These two colors are great just like yesterdays polishes. Strumming my Nails is defiantly going to be my go to for white base polish.

Sation is a very affordable brand with a price tag of $5. To view all of the colors Sation has to offer check out each collection here.

Gradient 31DC2013 Mani

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Wahoo I am officially a third way thru with the 31 Day Challenge. We covered all of the colors and next 10 days will be about patterns.  My mani today is a gradient done with jelly polish. I recently bought two of the jelly polishes from the China Glaze Sunsational Collection, and was inspired by Rebecca Loves Nails to use them in a gradient.

China Glaze: Shello-O and Keeping it Teal

After completing this gradient I realized that it looked exactly like a watermelon, and decided to stamp some watermelons :D

 Sinful Colors: Black on Black
W118

Isn't this just adorable!? To bad it's not very summery anymore cause this would of been perfect for summer picnic nails. This was also one of my first time using jelly polish for nail art and I really enjoyed them.

Nails from Camping Trip

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Happy Monday lovelies, I hope everyone had a great weekend. My weekend was filled with camping and doing nails. Every year my family along with five other families go camping for a week, I went up for the weekend and did about 20 set of nails, including some men! Today I wanted to share the mani that I got pictures of, I did use my phone camera and no light box so apologize for any bad quality photos.

First up I have all the ladies nails I did, sadly I didn't get pictures of them all and some turned out blurry. I had a ton of fun showing these girls all the different techiniques I use and espically amazed them all with stamping.

My sister was inspired by a pin on pinterest.

She loved purples and pearls.

This young lady loved my peacock nails from last year, she also is getting into doing her own nail art!

My Mom wanted a sunset, and also loved my gone with the wind so we incorporated a tree.

She was inspired by my blingy mani a few months back, and we changed the colors to pink.

The hornet represent the school mascot where she works.

I loved how the silver popped off the blue background, also the hot air balloon was a fan favorite.

My brother's fiance found an owl pin on pinterest that she wanted.
She wanted a subtle design that was work appropriate.

Even some of the men let me do their nails/nail!

This is my boyfriends, his favorite nfl team being the Texans.

Also my Dad wanted a confederate flag since he does civil war reenactments.

This man was the most fun to do, he knew exactly what he wanted. Love the bright colors!
It was a blast doing all these nails. I love being able to show others all the possibilities you can do with nail polish. It is also fun to watch how amazed they were with my collection.  I was most proud of the Texan's thumbs for my boyfriend, he was totally obsessed with them also :D
Have a great work week!!
