Guest Post: Beautrometry

The day has come that my vacation is ending, I will be back home sometime today but I have one last guest post after today's.  I have a blogger today that I met in a Facebook group and I am very glad she decided to help me fill the blog for my vacation.

Thank you for letting me do a guest post on your blog!
I participated in the Adventures in Stamping Challenge from Facebook for this week which is inspired by a Fairy Tale. The Fairy Tale that I am inspired by is The Jungle Book. The Jungle Book is a collection of various stories that are used to teach lessons to children. One of the most famous story from that book is about a boy who is raised by wolves in the jungle. Another well-known story from the book is "Rikki Tikki Tavi" about a mongoose. Perhaps you have read some of these stories?

To start, I painted my nails with OPI Suzi Loves Cowboys, a great chocolate brown color. I then took OPI A-Taupe the Space Needle and used Cheeky Jumbo Nail Art Plate D to stamp the wood-grain image on each nail. Doesn't the wood-grain look awesome?

Next, I wanted to try a new technique so I used Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Emerald City and FingerPaints Chrysanteh-Mum's the Word to create some sugar-spun vines across each nail. This was my first time trying the sugar-spun look and I really like the vine-y results!

You can check out past manicures and follow me for future ones at Beautrometry.

This is such a creative mani, I love how the sugar spun looks like vines on the wood! I have to give her credit for doing sugar spun technique since I haven't done this myself yet. Make sure to go check out Beautrometry to see some other great mani's!

Guest Post: Pearly Swirl

Today is my last full day in New York :( I am already sad to see it go, and have to get back to work soon. For those who are already starting thier work week today, hopefully this mani from Emily at Pearly Swirl cheer's you up!

I used L'OrĂ©al New Money as the base and a thin nail art brush to draw lines of Essie Bond With Whomever and Barielle Love. I drew the black lines with Orly Instant Artist in Jet Black. To top it off, I used a dotting tool to make Essie Bond With Whomever dots.

I was going for a fun/quirky/modern look.

Enjoy your vacation!

Emily from PearlySwirl

Thanks so much Emily! This is such a cute design, and I love the color combination.  I think stripes and dots are always a win when doing nail art. Make sure you check out PearlySwirl for more cute design like this one!

Guest Post: Meisie's Nails

Welcome readers to my first guest post while I am on vacation. Hopefully by now we have reach the house my family and I are staying in and starting the tour of New York City! For my first guest post I have Angelique from Meisie's Nail Blog, she does alot of amazing freehand nail art, make sure to check out her blog!

Hi lovely ladies,

I'm Angelique from Meisie's Nails blog. I was very happy and excited when Lisa contacted me and asked me to write a guest post for her. This is the first time I've been asked to write a guest post, so be gentle! :)

I wasn't sure what nail design to do for this post. I thought of many themes, but decided to go through my TO-DO list of nail designs - yep, I have a TO-DO list of nail designs I want to do some day! :) The first item on my list was drip nails. And that's what I did: a rainbow drip mani!

For the base color I used OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls, which, in my opinion, is the best white nail polish ever! For the drips I used acrylic paint and a small detailing brush. This is a very fun and easy nail art design that anyone can do. You can also use nail polish to paint the drips instead of acrylic paint.

I hope you liked my rainbow drip nails!

Thanks for reading!
Wow isn't that an amazing drip mani!! I love this design with the bright rainbow colors. I have yet to do a full on drip mani and this is great inspiration. Thank you again Angelique, this is just flawless! Make sure you check out her blog for even more nail art! Stay tune for some more guest post next few days :)

Guest Post: Little Laura Loves

I hope everyone is having a great Sunday! My guest post today is from a blogger who is just starting out. She defiantly has a lot of talent, with out further ado her is Laura from Little Laura Loves.

Hello everyone,
I'm Laura from Little Laura Loves , I am so grateful to Lisa for letting me Guest Post today and I'm hoping she's having a great break !
Today I have done a leopard print mani, I started off planning to do accented nails, but I liked the colours and the pattern so much I did it on all my nails.
I hope you like it, if you do please come and check out my blog :)
Thanks again Lisa

I am very impressed with this free hand cheetah! I love cheetah print but I usually stick with using a cheetah stamp, much easier :) The color combination is very pyschedlic also, great work!! Thank you so much Laura for helping me fill my blog while on vacation.

Guest Post: Sincerly Stephanie

I have officially been in New York for a full day! Today's guest post is from Stephanie at Sincerely Stephanie, she has a great mani to share with you.

Hey Everyone! I am really excited to be here today on Nail Polish Creations. My name is Stephanie and I run the Canadian nail art blog Sincerely Stephanie. I love all things nails and nail art and love putting crazy things on my nails.

The nails I'm sharing today were actually inspired by a sweater that I saw a girl wearing on campus. She only just passed me by so I have no idea where it was from, but it was really cool! The sweater was a mint green with this funky geometric pattern.

I started off with one of my favourite polishes of the summer etoile New York Fizzy Cucumber. The diamond dust shimmer just steals my heart every time I look at it! I used It's So Easy Stripe Rite Black to freehand the geometric print. I love my accent nails so on my middle nail I used one coat of Cult Nails Fetish, a black wax finish polish down half my nails and then added some silver square studs from Born Pretty Store.

Mint green is such a chic colour for spring and I love the touch of black to add a little bit of spunk to the overall look. Would you wear something like this?

I want to thank Lisa for asking me to guest post today! I am totally honored and excited to be here! Hope you have a wonderful day!

Omg, I LOVE these nails sooo much. This pattern is so cool, I love how she added the studs too. This mint green is absolutely gorgeous, I don't own any etoile products but now I really want this one!! If you don't follow Stephanie at Sincerely Stephanie you are missing out on amazing nail art! Thank you so much Stephanie for this guest post!

Guest Post- HeartNAT

Today I have a guest post from the lovely Natalie over at heartNAT, I am honored to have her guest post for me. Make sure to check out her blog at heartNAT, she does wonderfully nail stamping work!!

"Hi Nail Polish Creations readers! I'm Natalie from heartNAT and Lisa asked me to do a guest post for her. I was a little hesitant at first because I've never done one before, but I decided to go for it! There's a first time for everything right?
The main method I use to do my nail art is stamping so I decided to go with that. For this mani I used China Glaze Urban Night and then stamped using Konad M70 in Essie Nothing Else Metals. The polish I used to stamp with is from the new Essie Mirror Metallics collection and in case any of you are wondering, they are all wonderful polishes to stamp with!"
Isn't this mani beautiful!! Its flawless! I will defiantly try out stamping with my Essie Mirror Metalics, who doesn't love some blingy nail stamping?
Thanks so much Natalie for this guest post!
