Butterfly Accent Nails

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Happy Friday!! I have a fun weekend ahead of me, celebrating my boyfriend going to college. Luckily he will only be an hour away :) Also I will be going to my one of my Dad's civil war reenactments. For my weekend nails I decided to do some accent stamped nails with my favorite Pixie Dust.

Zoya: Carter
Hard Candy: Pee Wee Purple
Color Club: Mod in Manhattan
Cheeky Jumbo: Wild at Heart

Gosh Carter is just an amazing color, I added top coat to this mani to make the glitters really pop! I also am finally proud to say my nails are back to great shape since my mishap in the beginning of July :D. Have a great weekend lovelies!

Floral Matching Glitter

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Happy Monday lovelies! Hopefully everyone had a fun weekend, we had rainy weather so I had all my fun inside. Today I have a mani that I matched some floral to my glitter. Chalkboard Nails did this last week and it is genius! I went thru my glitters and found a gorgeous one that I haven't even used yet!

Hard Candy: Pee Wee Purple
Sally Hansen: Brisk Blue
Lime Crime: Parfait Day
Sinful Colors: White on White
Elixir Lacquers: Elixiversary

I recently got a Macro lens for my phone, and wanted to try it out with this glitter, so here is an extra pic!

I really love the combination of purple, blue, and pink. Having the glitter to work off of was great inspiration! Pee Wee Purple is also an amazing purple polish, it is super shiny. Have a great work week!

Candy with Hard Candy Sprinkle

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png
Good Morning lovelies, today I have a cute candy mani design. I was going thru my polishes and realized I haven't used many of my Hard Candy polishes more than once, so I decided to come up with a candy theme using one of the sprinkle polishes.

Hard Candy: Pixie Pink
Color Club: Foil Me Once
Kleancolor: Metallic Aqua
Sally Hansen: Silver Sweep
BM-306

I used the colors of the glitters in Pixie Pink to help me choose my coordinating polishes. Of course I took the literal meaning of Hard Candy and stamped with this fun candy image! This mani can sort of look mish mash but when you realize how I corilated it all, it makes more sense :D

31 DC, Day 12: Tape Mani, Textured

Another challenge post to share today, we are close to half way thru the Laid Back 31 Day Challenge! The tougher ones are coming up, so far it's been pretty simple. I have one of the Milani textured polishes to show you for this tape mani.

Hard Candy: Pee Wee Purple
Milani Textures: Purple Streak

Macro to show the amazing texture.

I found this texture to be rougher than the OPI Liquid Sand and Pixie Dust. It only required two coats and the formula was easy to work with. For a much cheaper texture polish I was impressed. Can't wait to see the others tape mani's, check them out below!!

31 DC, Day 9: Saran Wrap

Another challenge post today! I made it thru February for this challenge and hoping I wont forget about the rest of it since I already almost missed today's challenge! Mondays aren't my favorite day of the week. Luckily saran wrap mani's are super simple.

Lime Crime: Lavendairy
Hard Candy: Pee Wee Purple
butter LONDON: Matte Effect

I also added a border on my nails since I wanted to spruce the mani up! It is the first time I have done a border and I am iffy on how it looks... maybe its just my nubs. I am totally in love with the shimmer from Pee Wee Purple with the matte effect. Check below for the others saran wrap mani's!!

Stamping Sunday: Dots!

It's a beautiful Sunday in Michigan, the sun is shinning and the snow it melting :) As long as I stay in all day I wont have to deal with the cool wind! The stamping challenge for today is to stamp and also use our dotting tools. I choose a stamp that is a dot gradient so it made it easy for me to go over some dots with another color.

Hard Candy: Crush on Caribbean
CH10
Sally Hansen: Silver Sweep
Sinful Colors: White on White

Here is a swatch of Crush on Caribbean alone, its two coats. This is one of the new Crushed Chromes shades from Hard Candy. I really love this color alone it is sooo vibrant! Of course this color really makes me want to go and grab some more from this collection! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Hard Candy, Sprinkle Review (Pic Heavy)

I have a super quick swatch of the four Hard Candy Sprinkle colors that I bought. I know there is a lot of hype about these polishes but I have not seen many swatches of them yet. I want this to hopefully help you on deciding which polishes you do want!

Left to Right: Peach Pop, Jelly Bean Blue, Pixie Pink and Gummy Green.

For each swatch there is 3 coats besides Jelly Bean Blue, only 2 coats were required. Although the formula was sheer these polishes were still very easy to apply. There is no need to place the glitters and they lay very flat against the nail. I really love the effect of these polishes, reminds me of jelly sandwiches which usually take 3-4 coats to achieve anyways. I do feel like I may have to get the rest of this collection eventually :) Which one is your favorite? Do you plan on picking up any of the new Hard Candy polishes?

Hard Candy-Pretty Polish, Review

I am sad to say that today is my last review for Pretty Polish Glitters, but don't worry I am leaving you off with a great polish! This one was a surprise when I opened my package and such a nice surprise it was!
Hard Candy- "Is made up of so many different glitters in various shapes and sizes that I lost count." This is so true, I could barely make out what all the different colors and shapes are, which in turn makes it lovely.

When I first saw this polish I immediately thought of sprinkle's on frosting, this is why I did a cupcake :). I used a white base underneath with one coat of Hard Candy. On her etsy page she has a picture of the polish done is three coats for best opacity. I really like how the multi colors pop off the white. You can see all the small glitters alot better this way to. Once again there was no problems applying the glitters, she has really nailed the formulas for this collection.

To get this amazing polish for only $8 full size bottle, follow this link, and to see the rest of her glitter collection visit her etsy shop here.
