Blue Kissy Mani

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Happy Monday! I had the best birthday weekend since I can remember, and am so sad to see it already be another work week :( Atleast it is now valentines week so I can do some lovey mani's. My boyfriend got me some Mundo stamping polishes for my birthday, so I just had to try at least one of them out asap.

 OPI: Ski Teal We Drop
Essie: Dive Bar
Mundo 5
 BM-H17 and BM02

I can't believe how pigmented that blue is! I am so happy I got these stamping polishes, I even have more coming from my parents for my birthday!! It is sort of weird having a valentine mani without any pink or red.
Are you a huge valentine day fan?

A Pattern 31DC2013 Mani

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Today's theme is inspired by a Pattern. Since I work in an Interior Design Firm, I have the advantage of flipping thru tons of fabric books and finding the perfect pattern. Instead I found inspiration from a piece of furniture we are selling. Below you can see the pattern on the back rest of the chair that I copied.

Sinful Colors: White on White
Kiss Artist: Soft Purple

I love how the lines are intertwined in this pattern. I always seem to fall in love with these types of geometric designs.

Born Pretty Store Feather Polish, Review

 photo button_zpsc89bd61d.png photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Good morning lovelies, hope your Wednesday is off to a good start. Today I have some swatches of new Feather polishes from the Born Pretty Store. Feather polishes are becoming a huge trend like textures polishes, I have been on the fence with these glitters and decided to give them a try.

There are 8 different colors in the feather collection and I have the two above to share with you. I am very pleased with the size of these bottles, below are my swatches.

Lime Crime: Lavendairy
piCture pOlish: Violet Femme
Feather #8

This one is my favorite of the two, obviously because it is purple. The formula was a tad thicker then blue feather, but was still very easy to apply. Below is some macro images with bottle shot as well.

For being my first feather polish I am a huge fan! Next I have the blue feather to share with you.

Lime Crime: Once in a Blue Mousse
Kiss Nail Art: Soft Blue
Feather: #1

I also really like this color combination. The light blue with white is very summery. I had no problems with this formula. Below is some macro images with bottle shot as well.

One thing to point out about these polishes is that they are very shiny. From other swatches I have seen of these feather type polishes they aren't usually glittery. I think it was great they added to this finish. I just may pick up a couple more of these polishes!

These polishes are currently on sale for 3.99, normally 4.99. You can purchase these colors here, as well as check out the other 6 available color combinations. The Born Pretty Store really has so much to offer in nail art items, they also offer free International shipping. Star PJ Matching Mani

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Happy Wednesday Lovelies! Today is like my Thursday since I will be leaving for vacation tomorrow night!! Don't worry I have some guest post lined up for my vacation so you won't be left out :) Me and my family are going to New York, since we are all growing up this is our 'last' family trip. I am sooo excited to see New York and looks like we are going to have nice weather, I'll have more details tomorrow.

For my mani today I ended up being inspired by a pair of pajama pants I own. I received this purple in my Nail Art Society monthly package and out it on immediately. I didn't know what I wanted to do until I realized it matched my pj pants perfectly. Check out this star design.

Sinful Colors: White on White
China Glaze: Life is a Beach
(Purple had no name, came in Kiss Marbleizing Kit)

I stamped with white than painted in some pink stars and tried to do an outlined star look. I really need to get some art brushes that are better at detail, it is just alittle sloppy for my taste. Below is a picture next to the actual pajama pants pattern.

It defiantly looks better far away, but I am still impressed with how well this mani turned out. Now I am go to sleep with matching nails and pajama pants! This matching mani made me remember when I matched my swimsuit last August. Isn't great to get inspiration from your clothing!?

Random Stripper Brush Nail Art

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Well blogger finally worked, it only took me 30min to download two pictures!! Anyways, I have a random nail art post. I recently got a set of three kiss stripper polishes and wanted to think of a design to use them both, I come up with some random line design.

Lime Crime: Milky Way
Kiss Nail Artist: Dali Kit

Besides my pinky nail with the chunky lines these stripers were pretty easy to use. I really am not one for the tribal nails and this reminds me of them. It was a fun and easy design for sure but they didn't last long on me.
