Supernatural 31DC2013 Mani

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Happy Sunday, this is another post I wrote ahead of time. I will be busy coming home from bacherlotte party today and than later going to a cider mill with family so I did these nails ahead of time. The theme today is inspired by the Supernatural... how does the supernatural inspire one? I decided the best way to portray this was with a simple stamped ghost mani.

China Glaze: Recycle
Manglaze: Hot Mess
Sinful Colors: White on White and Black on Black
BM223 and Mash 38

Surprisingly I actually love this mani. I think the matte sparkly is what does it for me. This would make a great Halloween mani! Only 2 days left!!!

Back from NY, with a LIPPMANN!

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

I'm back from New York and have a super exciting post for you today. First off my vacation was amazing, New York is a totally different environment. We had amazing weather for two days and two other days it was rainy, but we stuck it out! I hope if you haven't already got to visit NY that someday you do.

Since we had so much to see in New York I didn't get to go to as many polish stores as I wanted, plus my siblings were very uninterested in stopping at any. In the end I got the one that I really wanted which is Deborah Lippmann: Do the Mermaid!! Today I have my first mani with my first Lippmann, I figured this was the best way to get back into posting after my vacation :)

Deborah Lippmann: Do the Mermaid
China Glaze: Tart-y for the Party
Color Club: Eternal Beauty

Isn't Do the Mermaid GORGEOUS! I am in love with the gold shimmer and metallic purple glitters. I added the "mermaid" stamp obviously because its Do the Mermaid! I wish Lippmanns weren't so expensive, I really want the pink and orange from this collection!! Do you have any Lippmanns? If so which ones?

Star PJ Matching Mani

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Happy Wednesday Lovelies! Today is like my Thursday since I will be leaving for vacation tomorrow night!! Don't worry I have some guest post lined up for my vacation so you won't be left out :) Me and my family are going to New York, since we are all growing up this is our 'last' family trip. I am sooo excited to see New York and looks like we are going to have nice weather, I'll have more details tomorrow.

For my mani today I ended up being inspired by a pair of pajama pants I own. I received this purple in my Nail Art Society monthly package and out it on immediately. I didn't know what I wanted to do until I realized it matched my pj pants perfectly. Check out this star design.

Sinful Colors: White on White
China Glaze: Life is a Beach
(Purple had no name, came in Kiss Marbleizing Kit)

I stamped with white than painted in some pink stars and tried to do an outlined star look. I really need to get some art brushes that are better at detail, it is just alittle sloppy for my taste. Below is a picture next to the actual pajama pants pattern.

It defiantly looks better far away, but I am still impressed with how well this mani turned out. Now I am go to sleep with matching nails and pajama pants! This matching mani made me remember when I matched my swimsuit last August. Isn't great to get inspiration from your clothing!?

Aristocats, Marie Inspired

I am super excited for today's mani!! It is my first time using acrylic paint and also having a character drawn on my nails :) The story behind these nails is yesterday I was searching netflix for a good movie and I found Aristocats. I loved this movie when I was younger because of the kittens, especially Marie. I even have a stuff animal of her! I bought acrylic paints awhile ago and decided I should finally give it a go.

Color Club: Pardon my French
China Glaze: Pink-ie Promise and Passion for Petals
Sinful Colors: White on White and Black on Black
Black and White Acrylic Paint

Awww isn't Marie so cute!! I choose the piano and music notes because of the scene where she is singing Scales and Arpeggios to the piano that her brother is playing. If you are not familiar you MUST watch this video, they are just so darn cute!!

31 DC, Day 7: Ombre or Skittle

Yet another post for the laid back 31 day challenge! We had a choice to choose between Ombre or Skittle for this challenge. Since I just did an ombre last Wednesday for this challenge I choose to do a skittle mani. I included two new colors from China Glaze Avant Garden Collection.

China Glaze: Fade into Hue and Tart-y for the Party
Sinful Colors: Snow me White

I love pastel colors right now,  I guess I just really want spring! Also China Glaze Avant Garden collection has the best colors right now! I have only bought a few but after seeing some more swatches I just may have to grab the rest! Make sure to show some love to the other participants below!!

31 DC: Day 1: Black and White

Well I have finally took the plunge and joined in on a 31 day challenge, expect I am doing the laid back version... I just can't put myself thru the stress of a whole month challenge. So to start it off here is a pic of what you can expect for this challenge, it will go on for 4 months, hopefully I wont forget about it!

Here we go, black and white is the theme and boy do I love this design!

Colors I used are Sinful Colors: Black on Black, Sally Hansen: French White, 365 Days of Color: Old Time, and plate Mash-38 with top coat of Out the Door.

What isn't more black and white than a checker flag pattern! I added the white glitters on the pinky and pointer since they looked boring as plain black. I am pretty excited to do this challenge and look forward to seeing the others, make sure to check them out below!!

WHC- Day 1, Snowflakes and Snowfall

Welcome to my second challenge that I will be doing for the month of December :) Winter Holiday Challenge is presented by Crumpets Nail Tarts, I will be posting on Wednesdays and Fridays. For the first challenge we have Snowflakes and Snowfall, not much of what we are seeing here in Michigan tho :(.
I started with two coat of Zoya: Skylar, using China Glaze: White on White I made a french tip and dots above for snow falling effect. Then I two coats of Orly: Winter Wonderland, which gave it some shimmer :) Using Konad special white and plate MASH-47 I stamped on the full nail snowflake image, finishing with top coat of Out the Door.
I hope you enjoyed my mani, and maybe this will help get some snow to start falling for us. I am not a fan of snow but I mostly want a white Christmas :) Check out below what you can look forward to seeing this month!

Stamping with CG Bohemian Collection

When China Glaze came out with their Bohemian Collection last month I wasn't that excited as other bloggers. To me duochromes always disappoint me from how they look in the bottle so I figured I wouldn't buy any of them. Than I found out that they are great stamping and water marbling colors sooo I HAD to pick up a few. Check out how neat they turned out!

Morning Shade
Base color was China Glaze: Liquid leather, The Bohiemian colors I used were No Plain Jane, Swanky Sillk, Want My Bawdy, and Unpredicatable. My stampig plate is Mash-38, top coat of Out The Door.

Afternoon Sun!!
WOW is all I can say. Subtle but gorgeous, totally worth having them :) Hopefully you already bought some cause they are starting to be scarce atleast in my area. If you are as much into stamping as me, you need to try these out!
