Nail Painting Weekend with the Boyfriend

Hello lovelies! Since I didn't get a post edited for today (crazy morning) I thought I would post about my recently uploaded Youtube Video. Wait, did you know that I have a youtube channel now?!?! If not, check it out here.

To explain the video lets start from the top! My boyfriend has a youtube channel, where he does vlogs and skits. He is going to school for broadcasting and video production which is why he enjoys youtube. I thought about doing this collaboration when him and his sister were joking about him doing his nails, since she recently joined in on the fun of nail art.

Last weekend we made a two part video for both of our channels. His channel shows me teaching him each nail art style on HIS nails and mine shows HIM painting the same mani on my nails!! I can't even tell you how much fun it was to do this, you will have many laughs at his attempt and maybe learn some simple nail art styles from me teaching him :D

First watch his video learning how to do the nail art.

Now watch his attempt!

I had so much fun doing this, it still makes me laugh when I re watch them. I was proud of my boyfriend and I think he has lots of potential ;) Although these nails didn't last more than 10min on each of us it was totally worth it.
Have you ever had a guy try to paint your nails?

Born Pretty Store Pearl Rhinestone, Review

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png photo button_zpsc89bd61d.png

Yay it's Friday lovelies, and I have a fun weekend with a wedding tomorrow! I recently got some Pearl Rhinestones from Born Pretty Store to review and I knew I just had wear them to match my dress for the wedding. Below is my review of these gorgeous pearls.

The Pearl Rhinestones come in this nail art wheel (shown above) with regular nail glue. You can see there are three sizes (shown to the left) to choose from, which is great for versatility. Each size comes with a large amount of pearls that I can see lasting a long time. Whether you like big 3D nail art or more subtle 3D nail art these will work great. Below is a look I came up with.
Bad Lighting :S

China Glaze: Life is Rosy
Sinful Colors: White on White
Cheeky Jumbo: Home Sweet Home

Since I prefer the more subtle 3D nail art I choose to use the Medium and Small size pearls for this look. I wanted to create a half moon and later realized this makes it look like a pearl necklace :D Below is a picture to show how much they stick off the nail.

You can see they don't stick off the nail, much at all. I applied one coat of Out the Door on top and they don't catch on hair or clothing. It is also give the perfect amount of texture to the touch, in fact I like to randomly feel my nail :D This whole mani looks perfect next to my rosey lace dress!

I absolutely love these Pearl Rhinestones, and for only $4.44 they are a steal! The Born Pretty Store really has so much to offer in nail art items, they also offer free International shipping. Make sure to use my coupon code below for 10% off!!

Have a wonderful weekend!!

Skittle Art Work

I wanted to do some art work over my mani from two days ago, but I couldn't narrow it down to just one. So I did a combined number of designs. It is my first skittle art work mani, usually I stick with one design but I like how the hologram shows thru each of these designs.
I used the same color for all these designs it is China Glaze: Harmony a metalic puple. On the thumb I did a flower stamp from plate BM-12. On index fingers I used stripping tape, middle finger framed with glitters, ring finger a water marble, and pinky a gradient in dots. Top coat of Out the door on all nails.
I actually like this mani alot, shows all different nail art ideas. The dot gradient is alittle hard to notice but thats cause I only used one color. Usually you would do two, I will probably do full mani of these soon.
Which design is your favorite?
