BPS, Neon Round Studs

~Press Sample~ ~Nothing to Disclose~

Hello dear readers, I have neon studs from Born Pretty Store to show you today. If you are like me, in the summertime, I LOVE neon everything. I know I will get alot of use out of these studs, check out all the different neon colors!

I paired these neon studs with one of my new Polish Me Silly colors, Freckles. Which is my first neon glitter and I am in love!

Color Club: London Calling
Polish Me Silly: Freckles

OO what a pretty Macro! I have always seen Freckles over a white base, and knew I wanted to try a different base color. I would say this neon mint green is also a perfect fit for Freckles. The neon studs are the perfect studs, they barely stick off my nail and I could see the lasting days.

These neon studs are going to be great for nail art this summer, you can find them here. The Born Pretty Store really has so much to offer in nail art items, they also offer free International shipping. Make sure to use my coupon code below for 10% off!!

Three Neon Stained Glass

~nothing to disclose~

It's almost the weekend!! Even tho our sunny warm days were sparse this week I wanted to wear some neon :D I did this free handed stained glass neon mani to brighten up my week.

Cosmetic Arts: Picture Day
China Glaze: Pool Party and Orange Knockout
Zoya: Charisma
Orly: Jet Black

As always neons don't show up the best in photos, this are much more bright in person. I also loved this look and already can think of another mani to incorporate this stained glass appearance.

Glitter Zig Zag

~nothing to disclose~

Morning! Since my nails are working there way to better health I thought I would share a mani from my vault. I have gone back and forth whether to share this mani and since I don't like leaving you all for a week thought this would make a nice filler in post. I was experimenting with diamond glitters and thought of this pattern below.

China Glaze: To Yacht To Handle

As you can see it was hard to place the glitters just right... and I don't think the color combination is a huge hit. I just may revisit this idea and try again, I feel like it could look great!
Do you enjoy seeing my fail mani's?

Neon Cheetah

I had the pleasure of doing one of my sisters friends nails this weekend, she was inspired by a design on pinterest. I love doing my sisters and her friends nails they always want fun mani's.
To start base coat is Wet N Wild: French Creme, colors used for cheetah was Nina Ultra: Punki Purple, Solar Flare, China Glaze: I'm With the Lifeguard, Orange Knockout. Black for the print was Sinful Colors: Black on Black, Top coat of Out the Door.
Besides the smearing on the pointer finger the mani turned out very well. She loved it, her comment was that they look like the Sally Hansen Sticker, this is the true sign that I am a professional :)

Neon Dots

I decided to do this mani to get some practice using my new Dotting Tools from Born Pretty Store. Of course its neon cause of the summer, not the most original but I love neons.
The colors I used were base coat of Wet n Wild: French White Creme. China Glaze: Orange Knockout, I'm With the Lifeguard, Pool Party, and Splish Splash, than Nina Ultra Pro: Solar Flare, and Punki Purple. Out the Door Top Coat.
The dotting tool is pretty easy, I tried two different ways of applying the polish to the tool. One was putting it on a plastic plate and pushing the tool into it, the other was using the brush to apply the polish. I think the second way worked better since it didn't waste as much polish.
How do you work your dotting tools?

Neon Stars!

I am really excited about this post, I ordered some items from Born Pretty Store and they have arrived! Pictured below is the black stripping tape, dotting tools, and stamping plate CK- 04
The colors I used are as followed: Pink nail is China Glaze: Pool Party with Color Club: Wing Fling. Orange nail is China Glaze: Orange Knockout with Color Club: Sparkle and Soar. Yellow nail is Nina Ultra Pro: Solar Flare with Color Club: Daisy Does It. Green nail is China Glaze: I'm With the Life Guard and Color Club: Fly With Me. Blue nail is Studio M: Total Wow and Color Club: Sky High. To add more sparkle I top coated with Northern Lights.
Now for the design aspect I used the black stripping tape I bought from bornprettystore. I have used taped before with my past designs so when I tried this kind out it wasn't to difficult to use. It stuck to my nails very well so the polish didn't seep under, the only thing I wish this tape came with was a dispenser of some sort to make it easier to cut the pieces.
I taped off the star than using Sinful Colors: Black on Black I went over the entire nail. To remove the tape I found it helpful to use tweezers. Top coat of Out the Door to finish my mani off :) I can't wait to come up with more designs using this stripping tape, I have a feeling I will go thru it in no time!!
Hope you love this one as much as me!

Neon Marble

Back to nail art instead of plain one color nails :) I have been wanting to do a neon water marble for awhile and when I heard China Glaze was introducing neon collection for this summer I couldn't wait till my Sally Store carried them. Sadly most of them were taken by the time I got they so here is the two I was able to snag.
Started with Wet n Wild: French White Creme. Used China Glaze: I'm With the Lifeguard and Beach Cruise-r. Top coat of Out the Door.
These colors are awesomely bright. I can't wait to use I'm With the Lifeguard in other nail designs this summer. Hopefully I'll be able to get some more of the new Neon's later this month also.

First Gradient and Second Stamping

As I explained in my last post that I will be going on vacation to the warmer state Alabama! Leaving at 5:00am Friday Morning :) For the occasion I wanted to have a bright mani. Bought all my neons and than got creative.
For the main color I choose NYC: Water Street Blue, 2 coats and topped it with Orly: Love Each Other, but not on my ring fingers. For my gradient colors I choose, in order from bottom to top of nail- Studio M: Neon Greenlight, Art Club Nailart Duo: Neon Yellow, China Glaze: Orange Knockout (Neon), and lastly Studio M: Neon Pink. For my stamp I choose the Palm Tree design that came with Salan Express and used my Black Nail Art from Art Club.

I am totally obsessed with how this mani came out!! More neon colors and styles to come while I am on my vacation, since it just seems suitable! Next post might not be till Saturday or Sunday fyi, ill be on the road!
Enjoy your weekend!
