Yay it's Friday!! This week went by pretty fast for me, hope it did for you also. We are suppose to have 70 degree weather this weekend, super excited :D I have a quick stamped mani today, and it's orange... man it is weird seeing orange on my nails.

I  do enjoy this design in general, still not sure if orange looks best on my skin tone.
Have a great weekend!!

BPS Hollowed Rose Nail Decor Pieces, Review

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png photo button_zpsc89bd61d.png

Happy Monday Morning lovelies. I hope everyone had a fun weekend, I am (like always) sad to see it end. I do have a cute mani to share with you today tho, it is a review for these adorable rose nail decor pieces shown below. These are from the Born Pretty Store.

When I first got these I was shocked how small and danity they are. I am very pleased with how many you receive also. Below is how I wore these roses.

 Only: Minds Eye
Sally Hansen: Silver Sweep
Pueen 73

Of course a macro to see the detail of this nail decoration.

I applied these roses the same as other studs, and since these lay flat on the nail you don't have to worry about them catching onto anything. These are made of a thin wire material so you can bend them to fit the curve of your nail.

You can find these adorable rose nail decor pieces here for only $3.18. They come in gold and silver and they have different styles also . The Born Pretty Store really has so much to offer in nail art items, they also offer free International shipping. Make sure to use my coupon code below for 10% off!!

Negative Space Red & White Hearts

Hello Lovelies! How fitting is that for this Valentine week? ;) My mani today is all hearts and red. I was inspired by One Nail To Rule Them All for today's mani. She has a great tutorial on negative space mani's, even with her doing a heart shape.

 Butter London: Pillar Box Red
Cosmetic Arts: Picture Day

I added glequins instead of outlining my heart, thought it gives more sparkle! This heart stamp is part of the new Pueen buffet stamping set, so far I love that set there are so many options! For being my first negative space mani I am sort of digging this idea. I have entered this mani into a contest #RINAILART, wish me luck!
Have you tried this technique? Whats your thought on negative space mani's?

Pattern Half Moon Mani

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Morning, we have another cold morning today. I am really over winter and I know I have at least one more month of it :( It is hard to be inspired to do my nails when all I want to do is wrap up in a blanket all night. My mani today is rather simple with stamping and half moon design. I am not sure why I do half moon designs anymore, I am not a fan of how they look on my nails.

NYC: Water Stree
Milani: Black Swift

I originally choose to do this design since I wanted to use my glequins. I do like how they outline the moon shape.
How do you stay inspired to do your nails?

Teal Puzzle Pieces

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Happy Friday!! Man I am so happy it's finally Friday, I can't really complain since I had a snow day Monday, but this week has dragged on. My mani today is an advanced approach to the puzzle design. I thought it would be neat to have pattern puzzle pieces so I did some stamping than free handed the puzzle design.

OPI: Ski Teal We Drop
Sally Hansen: Silver Sweep

This was rather hard to get a good puzzle image. Overall I am happy with how it turned out, next time I might try to use a more opaque polish since filling in the pieces took a few coats.
Have a wonderful weekend :D

Damask Skittlette

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Today I have yet another skittlette... small confession, I am obsessed!! I have been having so much fun combining colors and designs with doing skittlettes that I just can't stop. I think I need an intervention! Luckily coming up in September I will be joining a challenge which will hopefully help me to think out of the box. For this mani I was inspired by my blog design, since I want a mani to place on some business cards. Lets see how it turned out.

Zoya: Monica and Auroa
China Glaze: White on White

I am sad that Monica looks much darker on my two damask pattern nails, compared to my gradient with it. When colors do this to me it makes me so angry.  Overall I am not loving this mani, and now I have to re think a design to put on my buisness cards.. any ideas for me?
Have a great day!

OMG a UFO with Geometric Stamping

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Happy Wednesday readers, I am happy that this week is half way over. How is the weather holding up for you? Here in Michigan we are getting more rain it's hard to believe May is around the corner. Today I have a China Glaze Hologram to share, I found it on ebay for 4.25 and figured I would give them a shoot despite the bad reviews. I have a quick swatch and some nail art.

 China Glaze: OMG a UFO

This is shown with two coats. I tried a base coat on one nail and defiantly experienced balding and bad application. It applies with ease on the bare nail (no base coat) and I do like how fast it dries. You can see how the hologram is more subtle, I also like how this color is more different than other holo's. Check out the geometric stamping I did on top of this base color below.

Sinful Colors: Black on Black and White on White

I REALLY like this mani, it's very psychedelic and totally different from what I usually wear. I originally wasn't sure if I should stamp with black or white and decided why not use both. I really like how it turned out! Have your tried any of the China Glaze Holograms? Do you plan on getting any if you haven't yet?

Hearts with Homemade Nail Decal

 photo button_zpsc89bd61d.png photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

It's Thursday and I finally have a post for you! The last few days we had nice weather so I was trying to take advantage of that with some running which led me to ignore my nails (eek). Not to fear I am back and will hopefully get back on schedule next week. For now I have a sneak peek with one of the new Zoya Stunning colors, that was sent to me, and tomorrow I will have my reviews for both the Zoya Stunning and Irresistible Collections!!! Here is a cute mani I came up with that I have worn for 3 days.

Zoya: Micky
Sinful Colors: Black on Black and White on White

To achieve the heart accent nail I tried out a new technique that is making your own decals. The concept is to stamp the design on a zip lock bag, wax paper, or even leave it on the stamper. Then you paint in the areas you want, which in my case is the white hearts. Top coat your design and once it is dry you pull it off your backing and apply it like a nail decal. This was my first time and you can see it's alittle splotchy, guess my coloring skills have died over the years ;)

Hologram with Geometric Accents

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Well today is a sad day, not only cause its only Tuesday but Michigan lost last night in the championship game :( But not to worry I have a pretty sweet mani to cheer us all up.

Color Club: Cherubic and Take me to Your Chateau
Essie: Penny Talk

If you haven't noticed I have been in a stamping marathon lately. I got the Pueen plates for Easter and also received my Winstonia set so I have been all over the awesome designs. For this mani I was trying to think out of the box for a cute color combo and came up with copper and light blue. I also noticed that Cherubic is a copper hologram so I just had to include it! Do you like this color combo?

Dramatic Damask

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

It's Friday! Sorry for the lateness of this post, I forgot to take pictures of my nails before work so I had to on my lunch :S I am in love with my mani today, it is very dramatic! I probably should of done some bright colors since it looks like we are going to have a warm sunny weekend :) I just die over black and nude mani's!!

OPI: Dont Pretzel My Buttons
Sinful Colors: Black on Black

This Damask stamp is pretty much the reason why I wanted the Pueen set. I work with fabrics daily and whenever I come upon a damask I try to incorporate it! Although I originally planed a purple damask design (of course) I really wanted another nude and black mani. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!!

Geometric Stamping

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

I can't believe April is finally here and the sun is showing with warmer temperatures :) I am behind with posts right now after the holiday weekend I didn't get to do my normal amount of mani's. May take me a week to catch up, so for now I have a easy stamped mani with the new Pueen plates, I received from the Easter Bunny!

Zoya: Mira
Pretty Serious: Atomic Brain
Essie: Nothing Else Metals
Pueen 15

So far I am loving the diverse images and can't wait to try a few more I have my eye on. The only problem I have with the set is that my thumb nails are almost two long :S Hope you like this simple mani and had a great Easter weekend!
