Essence Floral and Stripes

~Press Sample~

Hello my long last nail polish lovers. I guess I have been gone for awhile now... and should give an explanation. I had a nail break (pointer finger) and also just lost inspiration for doing my nails. Life events happen which left me in a slump. I am hoping to get back into nails full force soon, till then I will have a few posts thru out the weeks. Today I have some nail art done with Essence polishes that I received for review. I really was inspired by the colors to do this floral stripe design.

I will have a full review on each of the polishes used later this week. Thought I would share my nail art first since I have left you all for so long.  Aren't these colors great together!? Below are a few ways to follow Essence and see all the great nail art items they offer.

Make sure you visit your local Ulta store to view Essence entire nail art line, they have very reasonable prices!

Happy Thursday lovelies! I am very ready for this work week to be over, how about you? One of my last Shimmer polishes is Nichole, which is a very patriotic polish. Nichole is a red, silver and blue melange glitter polish.

Shimmer Jennifer

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png photo button_zpsc89bd61d.png

Morning lovelies! I have a PSA this morning for anyone ever considering moving to Michigan. Here is a taste of our weather, mid march with 40 degrees yesterday and this morning woke up to 5 inches of snow... DON'T MOVE HERE! I am so over winter at this point, anyone else experiencing this type of weather? Anyways, we are already half way thru Shimmer week :(. Not to worry tho still few more days full of glitter! Today I have Jennifer which is a soft blue, periwinkle glitter polish.

When I have a glitter base I always love adding a dot gradient on top, which is what I decided to do with Jennifer

I would have to say this is the most interesting color combination for a glitter. This is another reason why I love Shimmer polishes, they are very unique.

I decided a V french tip would look great over this gorgeous oxblood glitter.

China Glaze: Can't Make me Wine

I have to say this is the most gorgeous oxblood glitter I have seen. I am a huge fan of deep reds they make me feel sophisticated, not sure why lol. I also love the mirco silver glitters in Bella. Below are links where you can find Shimmer polishes.

Shimmer Jasmine

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png photo button_zpsc89bd61d.png

Welcome to Shimmer Week!! I am super excited to have this whole week full of Shimmer swatches and reviews. I have been a long time fan of Shimmer polishes, Cindy has mastered the formula on these glitter packed polishes. My first shimmer was actually a custom order, you can see my post on Shimmer: Lisa here.

To start this Shimmer week off I have the lovely Jasmine. Jasmine can be described as an aquamarine, light blue and green glitter polish

Shimmer: Jasmine
One coat shown over OPI: Amazon.. Amazoff
I then added a simple V stamp design.

As with all Shimmer polishes application was a breeze.  I have found myself falling for teal/turquoise colors lately and Jasmine is no exception. Below are links where you can find Shimmer polishes.

KKCenterHK Light Blue Laser Foil, Review

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png photo button_zpsc89bd61d.png

Hello, today I have a review of a nail foil by KKCenterHK. This foil is a light baby blue with a rainbow effect. For this review I have tried out a couple different design's you can achieve with any nail foil. I also want to note that I did use a slow drying top coat with this foil and it still seemed to crack some.

Color Club: Take Me To Your Chateau

I am happy you can still see the rainbow finish with the cracks in the foil. Nail foil can be tricky to apply and I still need practice with it. I do love the braid nail and can see this being great in the summertime.

You can find this nail foil here for only $6.92.  KKCenterHK is a great website to find tons of items for nail art.  If you haven't visited this site yet you should really go and check out all they have to offer for nail decor, make sure to use my 10% off code below!!
