Spectraflair Diagonal Stripes

Today I have another fun design I did using the Spectraflair Top Coat. I wanted to show how the polish transforms the base color, so I did some peak thru stripes.
To start my base color is Sally Hansen Insta Dri: Snappy Sorbet. Using my striping tape I taped off diagonal stripes, than applied a coat of Spectraflair. Quickly removed the tape and top coat of Out the Door.
I choose a lighter color this time to see how well Spectrafliar would look over and I like how subtle this design is. You can still see the rainbow effect, I think this polish is going to be lots of fun in the future.
I wonder if it would stamp well?? :)

Inspired by my Swim Suit

I was slightly inspired by the Olympian swimmers on this design. I seen photos of how some have patriotic nails which matches their swimsuits so I wanted to create the same effect :)
My base color on the accent nails is Sinful Colors: Black on Black, and the silver that I used to stamp with as well as my other base color is Sally Hansen Insta Dri: Silver Sweep. To create the gradient effect with stars I used plate BM-14, top coat of Out the Door.

I am totally obsessed with how well this mani turned out! The colors I used where a dream to work with, and the turn out couldn't be more exact! I defiantly think ever girl should have a mani to match her swimsuit when it comes to summer time and being at the beach or pool as much as possible!

Sparkle Peacock!

As I posted last week I bought the Bundle Monster Set and the ever so popular peacock stamp is the one reason I really wanted it. This mani has alot of different styles and here is mine!
To start with I did a vertical gradient which is different from horizontal ones. The colors I used were Orly: Halleys Commet, Nicole by OPI: Kendal on the Katwalk and Nina Ultra Pro: Purplin-Xing. I used plate BM-212 and stamped with Sally Hansen: Silver Sweep. Added blue dots with dotting tool and used Color Club: Sky High.
I wish I had a gold metallic that I could have stamped with instead but make do with what we have! I also cut my nails down some cause my pointer finger keeps peeling at the tips so going to try and stop this! More stamping to come now that my nails aren't long. This sparkle is going to look amazing when I go to the beach tomorrow!!
How do you like my version?

Ruffle Mani

This mani is inspired by the popular ruffle mani that Sarah from Chalkboard Nails did a tutorial on shown here. I decided to mix it up alittle using the same technique.
To start my base coat is Studio M: Whose That Girl. I used the following colors to produce this mani, OPI: Pamplona Purple, Russian Navy, China Glaze: Splish Splash, Shower Together, Beach Cruise-r, Orly: Plum Noir, Sally Hansen: Lacey Lilac.
I went with a blue and purple color scheme, I'm not sure how I like this one, I think the diagonals are okay but not so much the circle pattern. Your opinon?

Freehand Purple Cheetah

I am totally in love with this mani, I found a new blog last night that I have been going thru all her post. She is amazing check out Rebecca at Rebeccalikesnails. I love how she free hands cheetah so that you can use different colors without having to have them be stamp able colors. I did mine with dotting tools, I need to get a brush set soon so I can master this look.
To start my base color is Sally Hansen: Lacey Lilac, the inside of the cheetah is China Glaze: Harmony, while I used China Glaze: VIII for the lines. Its a dark purple little hard to tell. My studs came for the Dollar Nail Art Store. This was a great way to incorporate them.
I hope you all love this mani as much as me. I am really getting the hang of nail art. Let me know if you have any suggestions for me.

Polka Dots

This is a fun mani, so simple and can be fun to do with a combination of any colors!
My base color was NYC: Sidewalkers. The colors I used for dotting was China Glaze: Stone Cold, Sally Hansen: Silver Sweep, Nicole by OPI: Follow me on Glitter, Sally Girl: White, Art Club Nail Art Duo Pen: Black.
I don't have a dotting tool, so I just used the brushes to try and make dots. I like how they aren't perfect dots makes its more abstract.
I got a compliment at work with these "Your nails are sweet as shit" :)

Metallic Gradient

LOVE this mani sooo much! When I found these colors by themselves I had a epiphany, boy did it turn out great.
Started with Sally Hansen Insta Dri: Silver Sweep, sponged on China Glaze: Avalanche than Harmony. Applied butter LONDON: Knackered for some sparkle and shine. Top coat of Out the Door.
I loved how the colors in the bottle looks by each other so I had to share, is it just me or are they fantastic?

Orange Marble

I have been loving water marbles lately, I wear these ones longer cause they are so neat. Lately any nail polish I have bought I have made sure it would work for marbling, now I have lots of choices :)
This marble started with two coats Studio M: Honey Love. For the marbling colors I used OPI: A Paz-itively Hot, Sally Hansen Insta Dri: Snappy Sorbet, and Studio M: Honey Love. Top coat of Out the Door.
These colors together are very pretty but not for my skin type unfortunately. If they could pop alittle more it would be gorgeous.
What do you think?
