Candy Shimmer

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Hello Lovelies, my mani today is rather simple. I am still trying to use all my new Mundo stamping polishes and that calls for skittlettes. I choose a candy stamp for today since I LOVE candy :D

OPI: Ski Teal We Drop
Orly: Halley's Comet
Mundo 24
Cheeky Jumbo Plate 7

Once again no problems stamping with Mundo polish and check out all that pigment. I forgot how beautiful Haley's Comet is from Orly, one downfall from having so many polishes.

How I Rocked, Push and Shove

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Today I have the famous Push and Shove from OPI. I debated many times whether to get this polish or not, and since I had an Ulta coupon I decided to snag it. I guess I am happy to at least have a polish like this in my stash, but it doesn't excite me as much as having a holo or gorgeous texture. Nonetheless I rocked this polish out with the skittlette shown below.

OPI: Push and Shove
Cosmetic Arts: TGIF
Jessica: Black Matte
Checky Jumbo 5

It really does have a gorgeous mirror like finish and application wasn't as finicky as I thought it might be. Overall I love this skittlette and I think it represents Gwen Steffani perfectly :D

Black, Silver, and White Skittlette

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Morning! My mani today is a rather simple design. Whenever I have no idea what color to do my nails I go with a black and white design, here is the skittlette I am wearing.

 Sally Hansen: Silver Sweep
Sinful Colors: White on White
Zoya: Storm
Milani: Black Swift
Cheeky Jumbo 4

I love are whimsicle the flower stamp is, would be perfect for a 70's/hippie design.
Have a great day!

Gold and Maroon Skittlette

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Good Morning, I have my first house visit with my boss today so this will be a quick post. My nails today is a fall skittlette with Gold and Maroon designs.

Jessica: Cinanamon Kiss
Julie G: Gift of Gold

I rather enjoy doing simple skittlettes using nail art decor. My favorite color for the fall is maroon and burgundys, so this polish is a winner for me!

Fall Skittlette

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Good Morning, who is excited for this work week? Ha who am I kidding. I have a fun fall skittlette that I wore this past weekend to share with you today.

OPI: Womans Prague-ative
Zoya: Livingston, Pepper, and Avery
NYC: Orange Traffic Jam
BM04

It's hard to see the leaves on my pointer and middle finger. I did a saran wrap mani underneath them and seems the red blends in with the orange. In person you can see the leaves much better. I also love the blingy ring finger :D

Damask Skittlette

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Today I have yet another skittlette... small confession, I am obsessed!! I have been having so much fun combining colors and designs with doing skittlettes that I just can't stop. I think I need an intervention! Luckily coming up in September I will be joining a challenge which will hopefully help me to think out of the box. For this mani I was inspired by my blog design, since I want a mani to place on some business cards. Lets see how it turned out.

Zoya: Monica and Auroa
China Glaze: White on White
Pueen14

I am sad that Monica looks much darker on my two damask pattern nails, compared to my gradient with it. When colors do this to me it makes me so angry.  Overall I am not loving this mani, and now I have to re think a design to put on my buisness cards.. any ideas for me?
Have a great day!

Leafy Skittlette

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Happy Hump Day! I have a quick Skittlette to share with you today. I was recently inspired by color combinations of dark and light green with gold and figured a skittlette is the perfect way to combine these colors.

OPI: Live and Let Die
Essie: Good as Gold
Sally Hansen: Jade Jump
Cheeky Jumbo: Home Sweet Home

I had no idea that Jade Jump would stamp so well, I guess Insta Dries really are the queen for stamping. I am also a huge fan of the leafy stamp. Enjoy your day!

Silvermint Skittlette

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Good morning lovelies, man I am so exhausted from these past two work days, it seems like it should be Friday already! I recently took advantage of a deal for two Pop polishes for only 2.95. I wanted to share my favorite of the two polishes with a cute skittlette mani.

Pop: Torquise
Sally Hansen: Silver Sweep
Milani: Lite Brite

I really loved this color by Pop, and I was happy with the formula.  This mani is super fun and was so simple to achieve. I am really obsessed with doing skittlette mani's now.

First Skittlette

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Good Morning and Happy Monday readers, I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend! I had a crazy busy weekend and am tired out already for this work week. Today I am trying out the skittlette design technique that Marta from Chit Chat Nails is famous for. She recently had a tutorial of how to create a successful skittlette mani, you can find it here. In short the difference between a skittle mani and a skittlette is that instead of all different nails (skittle mani) it has two sets of alike designs with one different BUT in the end all the designs look pleasing together.

piCture pOlish: Coral Reef
OPI: Golden Ryder
Sinful Colors: Black on Black and White on White
Cheeky Jumbo: European Romance

One set of my alike designs is the two stamped nails than the other set is the coral with stud that is on both pointer and thumb nail. I choose a simply black and white design with coral and gold since they coordinate well together. I defiantly love how this turned out but to get even better ideas on skittlette mani's you must visit Chit Chat Nails, all of Marta's designs are gorgeous!
