Neon Weave Pattern

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png
Happy Thursday, only one more day to get thru till the weekend! As I mentioned in my post yesterday I have another neon mani to share with you today. This design was inspired by the middle finger on this mani. Although that entire mani is gorgeous I loved the weave pattern and decided to do two accent nails in that pattern.

Studio M: Total Wow
Color Club: Lava Lamp
Sinful Colors: White on White

The bottom picture better represents the colors, some reason lighting is better at that angle. Also the orange is way more bright and neon. My freehand lines are a little wobbly but I still love how this turned out. Have you enjoyed my last two neon mani's?

Neon Freehand Chevron

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Today I am breaking back into neons, in fact tomorrow I'll have another neon mani! My design today was inspired by this mani. I really loved the edgyness of the freehand chevron and it looked simple to do so I just had to try it.

piCture pOlish: Violet Femme
Studio M: Neon Green
Sinful Colors: White on White

My chevron isn't the best, I really need to find a better detailing brush. I absolutely love the color combination of neon green and purple, I know I will be using these colors a lot this summer. This design was super simple to achieve and just imagine all the color combination possibilities!

Stamping Sunday: Crazy Neons

I hope everyone is having a great weekend, I know I am sad that it is already Sunday! I recently joined a new group Adventures in Stamping and choose to participate in their Stamping Sunday event. We voted for our theme and crazy neon's won! I also recently bought some flocking powder that was on clearance and it happened to be neon's so I choose to incorporate them!

Studio M: Neon Green Light and Neon Pink
piCture pOlish:Violet Femme
NYC: Water Street Blue
Mash-48
Flocking Poweder

I have to say these are some bold nails, It kind of looks weird... It was still a lot of fun to make and can't wait for more neon's coming this summer! Enjoy the rest of this beautiful Sunday!

Ruffle Mani

This mani is inspired by the popular ruffle mani that Sarah from Chalkboard Nails did a tutorial on shown here. I decided to mix it up alittle using the same technique.
To start my base coat is Studio M: Whose That Girl. I used the following colors to produce this mani, OPI: Pamplona Purple, Russian Navy, China Glaze: Splish Splash, Shower Together, Beach Cruise-r, Orly: Plum Noir, Sally Hansen: Lacey Lilac.
I went with a blue and purple color scheme, I'm not sure how I like this one, I think the diagonals are okay but not so much the circle pattern. Your opinon?

Hex Flowers, Mosaic Accent

I give you my first attempt with applying hex glitters. I am using this mani for an entry into BornPretty June Contest. Flowers was one of the categories we could choose from to use in our nail art. I think my ring finger looks like a mosaic tile, and decided to just do the tips to off play the entire nail.
To do this mani I started out with two coats of China Glaze: White on White. To apply the hex glitters I used Studio M: Stuck On You. Than two top coats of Out the Door to make sure I wouldn't loose any of my glitters :)
Look at how it shines in the sun! It's alittle harder to see the flowers with all the shine but I still LOVE this mani. I hope everyone loves this mani as much as I do.

Neon Stars!

I am really excited about this post, I ordered some items from Born Pretty Store and they have arrived! Pictured below is the black stripping tape, dotting tools, and stamping plate CK- 04
The colors I used are as followed: Pink nail is China Glaze: Pool Party with Color Club: Wing Fling. Orange nail is China Glaze: Orange Knockout with Color Club: Sparkle and Soar. Yellow nail is Nina Ultra Pro: Solar Flare with Color Club: Daisy Does It. Green nail is China Glaze: I'm With the Life Guard and Color Club: Fly With Me. Blue nail is Studio M: Total Wow and Color Club: Sky High. To add more sparkle I top coated with Northern Lights.
Now for the design aspect I used the black stripping tape I bought from bornprettystore. I have used taped before with my past designs so when I tried this kind out it wasn't to difficult to use. It stuck to my nails very well so the polish didn't seep under, the only thing I wish this tape came with was a dispenser of some sort to make it easier to cut the pieces.
I taped off the star than using Sinful Colors: Black on Black I went over the entire nail. To remove the tape I found it helpful to use tweezers. Top coat of Out the Door to finish my mani off :) I can't wait to come up with more designs using this stripping tape, I have a feeling I will go thru it in no time!!
Hope you love this one as much as me!

Orange Marble

I have been loving water marbles lately, I wear these ones longer cause they are so neat. Lately any nail polish I have bought I have made sure it would work for marbling, now I have lots of choices :)
This marble started with two coats Studio M: Honey Love. For the marbling colors I used OPI: A Paz-itively Hot, Sally Hansen Insta Dri: Snappy Sorbet, and Studio M: Honey Love. Top coat of Out the Door.
These colors together are very pretty but not for my skin type unfortunately. If they could pop alittle more it would be gorgeous.
What do you think?

Blue Water Marble

This is by far my best water marble to date, love the shapes I was able to create and it turned out great on both hands! It is always so hard for me to get my left hand good, being left handed, but I got it this time :D

To start I did 3 coats of Wet n Wild Megalast: Break the Ice, I didn't use plain white cause last time it showed thru in spots and I hated it. For my marbling colors I did. China Glaze: Shower Together, Blue Iguana, and Studio M: Whose that Girl. Top coat of Out the Door. It is actually hard to see the three colors cause Blue Iguana is Glittery but blends in with Shower Together. Next time I will have to remember to change the order so it is separated from Shower Together.
I choose blue colors because its my Sisters prom tomorrow and that is the color of her dress! I wish she was letting me do this on her nail,  but of course she wants a french mani done with her fake nails :P Instead of using the petroleum jelly like last time I used tape and defiantly will continue with this method.
When you water marble do you start with your good hand first? I think next time I will be switching it up.

Sparkle Creation

I created my own sparkle with this mani. I haven't decided if I want to do a design on top of this one yet. I love how the three polishes work together.
Started with one coat Orly: Plum Noir, than Orly: Winter Wonderland. This is what I originally had planned, but than I wanted more sparkle not just the frosty look. So I added Studio M: Magic Attraction. Top coat Out the Door
This is a really pretty color for all over nails, I'm sure I will think of a design to go with it eventually but for now I like it as is. :D

Easter Nails!

This was my first nail art by hand, boy was it fun and I can't believe how good they came out!
My base color was Studio M: Whose That Girl, for the grass I used Wet n Wild Megalast: I Need a Refresh-Mint. For the egg colors I used two Essie's: Cute as a Button and Nice is Nice. For the white I used my Art Club Nail Art Duo Pen for the eggs designs and the stripper for the Bunny. Than used the black Art Club Nail Art Duo Pen for the Bunnies eyes whisker and nose. Back with the Essie: Cute as a Button for the inside bunny ear and over the nose. Top coat with Out the Door.
Hope you all have a great Easter and get creative with your nail designs!!

Blue Patchwork

I have been looking for a light blue that only takes one coat to cover, and I am proud to say I have found one! Another Studio M polish, sorry for the continuous brand use but for 2.99 a bottle I'm sold.
Start off with the Studio M: Whose That Girl, than I choose certain patches to tape off to paint my second color with Sally Girl Mini's: White, and my last color was Revlon Colorstay: Blue Slate. For my top coat I chose to add some sparkle and used Northern Lights a Hologram Top Coat.
This is another style to do patchwork in, instead of four squares, I love these colors together, a gradient would be neat with maybe another blue in between.
How do you feel about it?

Lust an Accent Finger

OMG!! I love this one, will probably last more than one day :) It's a purple mani, but of course my camera makes it seem more blue :(
First coat is Orly: Charged up, than to get more of a shine I used Studio M: Lust. For my accent finger I used my Wet n Wild, Coloricon: Speak When Spoken To. For my top coat I am trying Out the Door instead of SV. I think I like this one better, less smell and same results without shrinkage of the polish.
I know I have used the Coloricon color alot, but I just love it to much! I wish the picture would show the gradient better, I find myself staring at it randomly :D
Whats one of your favorite polishes you find yourself using alot?

Total Wow, With an Accent Finger

This mani is inspired by the blue skies on this day of 90 degrees in March!! Gosh I love this weather.
This was a simple mani, two coats of Studio M: Total Wow, expect only one coat on my accent finger. Than one coat of Nicole by OPI: A Million Sparkles for my accent finger. Top coat of SV to finish it off.
I love this mani, the sparkles are my favorite. The formula for A Million Sparkles is the best I have used, it covers the entire nail with one coat. I actually bought this color thinking it was gaudy looking in the bottle and would have fun trying to make it work. :D You cant see it in my picture very well, but the sparkles are small blue as the base, with little bigger silver circles, and than some pink fetti. If it didn't have the pink fetti it would be less gaudy for sure.

Ehh Pink Mani

Well this will be one of the few pink mani's ill do. I am not a huge fan of pink in general you'll see alot more purple mani's from me. I do like the design, it was my first time using a nail art pen so I can see I need alittle more practice with a steady hand.
For my base I used Studio M:Thunderbolt, just one coat. Than I taped off diagonally and applied Icing: Glitteratti, one coat of SV. Then using Art Club Nail art Duo: White, I used the pen and drew a line to help distinguish the separation. This nail polish dried really fast I was delighted by that. Than I decided to use my matte finish from NYC color to finish my mani off. Matte over any sparkly nail polish gives it a neat finish, if you have never done it, do so immediately!
Hope there are some pink lovers out there that appreciate this design. Unfortunately it only lasted over night on me :S.
