BPS Fluorescent Heart Stud, Review

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png photo button_zpsc89bd61d.png

Happy Hump Day! I am so happy this week is half way over. Since it is now November I am just counting down till Thanksgiving :D I have another great product from the Born Pretty Store to review for you.

These are Fluorescent Heart Studs, I spruced my studs up by adding some stamping make sure to check it out below!

Zoya: Kristen
Loreal: Jet Set to Paris
Sinful Colors: White On White
BM-410

As you can tell they are rather large and nail glue does secure them for a few hours if you aren't working with your hands. I love how you are able to stamp onto the studs, it really lets you match them to the rest of your mani even more so. These also glow under black light, unfortunately the black light I had burnt out and I didn't get a good pic :(

You get 50 of these studs in one pack for only 2.99, they have five different colors to choose from. The Born Pretty Store really has so much to offer in nail art items, they also offer free International shipping. Make sure to use my coupon code below for 10% off!!

KKCenterHK Nail Studs, Review

 photo button_zpsc89bd61d.png photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Happy Thursday lovelies!! I have been a vacant blogger lately and its because of this gorgeous weather we are getting in Michigan. Yesterday it was 80 and stayed to high 70's all night. I was beginning to think we were going to not have a summer, but it seems May has put April in it's place :)

I was contacted a few weeks back to do a review for KKCenterHK. This is an Asian cosmetic supply company and they have some very neat nail items also. I always enjoy different nail studs and they have a huge supply, I have two to show you today.

First I have circle silver 1.5mm studs, you can purchase here for $4.23.

 Sally Hansen: Brisk Blue
Nail Art: Silver Striper

I really was excited to get these studs since I have wanted to try out the quilt nail look. I applied this using a wet toothpick and top coat to stick them on. What I love about these is they don't stick off the nail alot so they don't catch on clothing, hair, etc.

Here are Square Laser Purple 3mm studs, you can purchase here for $4.72

Zoya: Mira
Color Club: Eternal Beauty

Of course you know I choose these to review because they are purple! I really love how these are shinny like rhinestones but in square shape. These are larger and you can sort of see how they lift off the nail a little, but a good top coat solves that problem.

These two are just a small variety of what KKCenterHK has to offer for nail studs, make sure you check out there huge selection here. Also if you haven't visited this site yet you should really go and check out all they have to offer for nail decor, make sure to use my 10% off code below!!

Essence Review, Part 3

 photo button_zpsc89bd61d.png photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Yay it's finally Friday, only 8 hours of work stand in my way of the weekend! For the last of my Essence review I have some nail art items :) I love glitters and studs so I was very excited to try out these items. This pack is called Essence Nail Art Decorating Kit, it comes with some glequins, line glitters, round studs, diamond glitters, and gold foil pieces.

I used the round studs and diamond glitters for this look.

Zoya: Toni
Essence Glitters
Essence Gel Look Top Coat

The gold diamond glitters are so shiny! To apply both of these I used a toothpick dipped in water to pick the glitters up. The glitters laid nice and flat after a top coat, also the round studs are not balls they are cut in half which makes them stay attached much easier to the nail. I love the variety of glitters you get in this pack. I probably wont use the line glitters ever and wish they gave more of the ball studs!!

As I said in my first post I got the Gel Look Top Coat and have used it on all these mani's. My final thoughts on this product is that it is great for a super shiny finish! Now the downfall for me was that it does have a longer dry time, but that's only cause I always use the fast drying top coats. I wore each mani for a full two days and didn't have any tip wear.  If you really want that shiny look I would grab this one!

These are all crazy cheap products, make sure you check out your local Ulta store and pick up these goodies! I know I will be going thru my Ulta store to find more essence products!

It's Friday!! I have lots of plans this weekend so I am even more excited for the weekend than usually. This might be my last St Patty's mani, I can't believe how fast the last two weeks went I ran out of time to do more :( I love this design tho so I will be happy to wear it all weekend!

OPI: Live and Let Die
Essie: Good as Gold
BM03
Gold Round Studs

This design is so simple and chic! I love the gold shimmer in Live and Let Die it's absolutely perfect for gold details! I bought the gold round studs at Micheals they were by the bedazzle section? I thought they looked perfect for nail studs! I hope you have a safe and festive St Patty's weekend!

Freehand Purple Cheetah

I am totally in love with this mani, I found a new blog last night that I have been going thru all her post. She is amazing check out Rebecca at Rebeccalikesnails. I love how she free hands cheetah so that you can use different colors without having to have them be stamp able colors. I did mine with dotting tools, I need to get a brush set soon so I can master this look.
To start my base color is Sally Hansen: Lacey Lilac, the inside of the cheetah is China Glaze: Harmony, while I used China Glaze: VIII for the lines. Its a dark purple little hard to tell. My studs came for the Dollar Nail Art Store. This was a great way to incorporate them.
I hope you all love this mani as much as me. I am really getting the hang of nail art. Let me know if you have any suggestions for me.
