Essence Polish Reviews

~Press Sample~

Morning Lovelies. As mentioned earlier this week I have some swatches of Essence polishes that I received. You can check out the nail art I did with these colors here. Essence is a very affordable brand that stays on top of nail trends. I have three colors, shown below, swatched for you today.

First up I have the red texture swatched. We all know how popular texture polish was beginning of last year, and it's great to see Essence has their own texture polishes, so you don't have to spend alot to stay on trend!

Essence: Me & My Lover. Two Coats no top coat.
This formula was so easy to work with, and drying time is comparable to Zoya pixie dusts. This texture finish is also very similar to pixie dust which is my favorite type of texture finish.

Essence thats what I Mint review swatches

Essence: That's What I Mint. Two coats no top coat.
Great creme formula and fast dry time. This color also has a very subtle shimmer to it.

essence the green & the grudge swatch review gel look top coat green creme opaque

Essence: The Green & The Grudge. Two coats with Essence: Gel Look Top Coat
This polish was pretty opaque in one coat, I added second coat for swatch purposes. Also check out how shinny this finish is using Gel Look top coat.

All of these polishes had great application and dry time. I really love how shiny the Gel Look Top Coat dried, but unfortunately it is a slow drying top coat. I have one more review of Essence products for you next week, stay tuned!

Make sure you visit your local Ulta store to view Essence entire nail art line, they have very reasonable prices!

Zoya Magical Pixie Dust Collection, Review

 photo button_zpsc89bd61d.png

I have the most gorgeous polishes to review for you today. Yes you guessed right it is the Zoya Magical Pixie Dust Collection! I am first going to start out saying my original thoughts on this collection are ALL completely wrong. First off I thought, o boy chunky glitter's this is going to be a pain to apply. I then also thought wow these are going to be extremely rough and get caught on everything. Also, as with with all glitters I was not excited about the removal process. I am happy to say that none of that was true with these polishes! Check the preview out below and click over the jump for my full review with swatches and a video of these polishes!

Happy Valentines Day

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Happy Valentines Day to all those who are celebrating it, otherwise happy Friday! I have my final valentine mani that I will be wearing for the weekend. My plans are nothing major I wont see my boyfriend till 10:30 tonight anyways. I decided to do a gradient with textured polishes and add alittle heart.

 OPI: Pussy Galore
Zoya: Miranda and Chyna

I am surprisingly in love with how much pink this mani has. I top coated these textures since I really wanted to bring out the shine.
How are you or aren't you celebrating your Valentines Day?
Have a great weekend!!

Textured Sweater

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Good Morning! Boy it is a frigid morning here in Michigan, 7 below! This means it is thick sweater season and my nails agree! I also have my first Dance Legend Polish to share today. I was good this year and only bought myself two polishes for Christmas, plus they were 40% off so I just couldn't say no.

Dance Legend: White Noise
Sinful Colors: White on White
Sally Hansen: Silver Sweep
China Glaze: Liquid Leather

Below is a bonus macro of this gorgeous texture. It is hard to see the silver glitter but trust me this one shines!

The other Dance Legend I bought was a thermal, and will have to wait till summer to wear since it is just to cold to change colors :( Have you gotten any of these gorgeous Dance Legend Polishes?
Have a great weekend!!!

Stripping Brush Designs, Skittle Mani

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Good Morning! Hope you all had a great weekend, mine was semi busy with family Christmas parties. I am super excited for this work week to be over with already, cause I will then get 12 days off :D My mani today I did all my favorite designs using stripping brush into one skittle mani, on top of a gorgeous texture polish.

Sally Hansen: Cinny Sweet
Orly: Crisp White and Platinum Silver

I really loved these colors together, this is one of the new sugar shimmer polishes. Sally Hansen really has done a great job with staying ontop of the texture trend this year.
Have a great day!!

Texture with Accent V Design

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Today I have my favorite three polishes from Julie G's Holiday Frosted Gumdrop set. I loved their original set and when I saw them come out with these festive colors I knew I had to have them! All six of the colors are just perfect but I am in love with these three.

Julie G: Sleigh Ride, Sugar Plum Fairy and Silver Bells

Jesse Girl Cosmetics do a great job with these Julie G gumdrops. I hope they continue to come out with new colors in this texture finish.
Did you snag this collection yet?

Mint Green and Black Geometric Texture

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

I hope everyone had a great Memorial Weekend with hopefully great weather to get out and enjoy. I certainly loved having three days off. Back to a normal week of posting for me, and a giveaway coming next week! Today I have two of the new Sally Hansen Sugar Coat polishes to share, it seems even department store brands are getting on the texture wagon.

Sally Hansen: Sour Apple and Lick-O-Rich
Sinful Colors: Black on Black
Cheeky: Jumbo Happy Nails

I only picked up these two colors since the mint green is gorgeous and I believe it is the only textured mint green right now, also I didn't grab a black from the Milani Texture collection so I knew I had to get this one.  The formula for these is very much like the Milani Textures which has a more defined texture feel. I really love mint green and black combo ever since my guest post from Sincerely Stephanie.

Did you pick up any of these Sugar Coat polishes from Sally Hansen?
