Happy Valentines Day

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Happy Valentines Day to all those who are celebrating it, otherwise happy Friday! I have my final valentine mani that I will be wearing for the weekend. My plans are nothing major I wont see my boyfriend till 10:30 tonight anyways. I decided to do a gradient with textured polishes and add alittle heart.

 OPI: Pussy Galore
Zoya: Miranda and Chyna

I am surprisingly in love with how much pink this mani has. I top coated these textures since I really wanted to bring out the shine.
How are you or aren't you celebrating your Valentines Day?
Have a great weekend!!

Heart and Holograms

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Good Morning! Rather simple mani today, not much to say about it. My decal didn't work out very good but I love the gradient heart on my middle finger.

Color Club: Style Icon, Harp On It, and Halo-Graphic
Cosmetic Arts: Picture Day

This is much more of a traditional Valentines mani, with red pink and white. Can you see my nail shape is more round than square now also? Wanted to change it up alittle.

Blue Kissy Mani

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png

Happy Monday! I had the best birthday weekend since I can remember, and am so sad to see it already be another work week :( Atleast it is now valentines week so I can do some lovey mani's. My boyfriend got me some Mundo stamping polishes for my birthday, so I just had to try at least one of them out asap.

 OPI: Ski Teal We Drop
Essie: Dive Bar
Mundo 5
 BM-H17 and BM02

I can't believe how pigmented that blue is! I am so happy I got these stamping polishes, I even have more coming from my parents for my birthday!! It is sort of weird having a valentine mani without any pink or red.
Are you a huge valentine day fan?

Happy Valentines Day!

Hooray it's Valentines Day!! For me I am just excited that it's Thursday one more day till the weekend and no more pink mani's! My night plans is to curl up in bed and have a glass of wine, which is like every other night I guess :) To be festive and have an excuse to put hearts on my nails I give you my vday mani!

 Lime Crime: Parfait Day
Orly: Minds Eye
Butter LONDON: Matte Finish

Awww isn't it so cute and dainty? I really am loving matte finishes lately and I find that the butter LONDON doesn't chip to fast! I hope everyone has a great Valentines Day and remember to spend some time with someone you love even if it's just yourself :)

Valentine Nail Art Challenge: Inspired by a Participant

Another challenge completed! Last day of the Valentine Nail Art Challenge :) I am proud of myself for finishing it, having to do mani's almost everyday for past 2 weeks! For this last challenge we are to recreate our favorite look from a past participant. I just had to do this mani by datyorkLOVEs, the host of this challenge. It was Day 5 theme lace check out my mani below!

The colors I used are:
China Glaze: White on White
Orly: Winter Wonderland
Color Club: Style Icon
Zoya: Shelby

I absolutely love her design! That theme was defiantly the hardest for me to think of a design. It is actualy quite easy to do also! I had alot of fun with this challenge, hopefully you enjoyed all my valentines mani's. Tomorrow is the day! Make sure to get your reminders out to significant others, we all know how forgetful they can be! Check out who the others were inspired by below

Valentine Nail Art Challenge: Dotticure

How is everyone today!?! I am so happy that it is finally friday I feel like this week has taken forever. I had an eventful morning, waking up to about 6-8inches of snow and had to shovel my drive way to get into work. I was only 15min late! Anyways this valentine challenge is almost over as we are inching our way to the day! I had alot of fun with this mani, it's super cute :)

Base color is Wet n Wild Megalast: Undercover, used China Glaze: White on White, Sally Girl: Neon Pink and Top Coat of Out the Door.

Dot gradient with some hearts! I wish my base color was just alittle more red, but I wanted to use an older polish. I hope everyone has better weather than me and that you all have a fun weekend!!

Valentine Nail Art Challenge: Lace or Fabric

I am just blowing thru these valentine challenges! Today I have a cop out for the theme :| I literally thought of this theme for two days and just couldn't think of ANYTHING! Than yesterday Sarah at Chalkboard nails posted the perfect design for this challenge (in my opinon). Here is a link to her mani, below is mine.

Base color is Zoya: Kennedy also used Color Club: Style Icon, Sally Beauty: Neon Pink, with top coat of Out the Door.

To me this looks like a fabric pattern, kind of argyle. I love Sarah's mani so much, my nails are alittle short right now so it looks kind of smushed. It is a cute simple design! Make sure to check out the others attempt at this theme below.

*Birthday Nail Art Contest winner will be announced later today, with my BIRTHDAY nails inspired by the winner :) *

Valentine Nail Art Challege: Red or Pink

I have taken up another challenge this month which gives me a way to do some valentine themed mani's! I have never really gotten to into valetines day, probably cause I never had that someone to spend it with, or since I am not a fan of pink? ;) None the less I love doing themed mani's!

This challenge is hosted by dayyorkLOVES. There is 10 challenges and you can do them at your own pace, it is running from the 1st-14th. To see what kind of theme's we have check out below.

Now onto my mani! This is a new technique to me, I figured it would be a great way to combine red and pink without it being a normal gradient! This is a called a Reciprocal Gradient, Globe and Nail has an awesome tutorial on how to do this you can visit that here.

I used butter LONDON: Pillar Box Red and Zoya: Shelby, top coat of Out the Door.

Isn't this a sweet technique!?! It kind of psyches you out when you first look at it, at least it does to me. The only thing that was a pain to me is cutting all the stripping tape, I am just not a patience nail artist. Otherwise it is super easy since it is just two gradients! Make sure to check out the other participants below!!
