V Dot French

~nothing to disclose~

Morning! I have one last mani to share from my vault before we get back to my nails now a days... When I did this mani I had no expectations, I started off with Stone Cold and just kept adding to it. Surprisingly it didn't turn out bad and I actually wore this for a few days!

China Glaze: Stone Cold
Color Club: Harp On It
Sinful Colors: White on White

I think what I liked most about this mani was the holo over this gorgeous black base. I just love finding an old polish that still amazes me like Stone Cold.

Shimmer: Bella
One coat shown over China Glaze: Prey Tell
I decided a V french tip would look great over this gorgeous oxblood glitter.

China Glaze: Can't Make me Wine
Essie: Penny Talk

I have to say this is the most gorgeous oxblood glitter I have seen. I am a huge fan of deep reds they make me feel sophisticated, not sure why lol. I also love the mirco silver glitters in Bella. Below are links where you can find Shimmer polishes.

Funky Side-Swept Christmas French

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png
Morning lovelies. Today I am starting back up with some Christmas Designs and will keep going till Christmas Day! My look today was inspired by The Nail Network, she thought of this funky swept french design. Her mani is simply gorgeous so make sure to check it out!

 Essie: Good as Gold
RCM: Candid Moment

My approach to this design was to create lots of bling! That's why I choose to use gold and glequins :D I like how this design is a subtle but you can still tell it's Christmas inspiration.

KKCenterHK Lace Foil, Review

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png photo button_zpsc89bd61d.png

Morning lovelies, how has everyone's week been? I know mine feels like it has been dragging on. Today I have a gorgeous nail foil from KKCenterHK to review for you.

This is such a gorgeous lace print. It is translucent so you could do any background color.  Below is how I wore this foil.

Wet n Wild: Break the Ice
China Glaze: Liquid Leather

This is the second foil I have used from KKCenterHK and I must say I love the quality of their foils. I don't experience any balding where the image didn't transfer and they don't 'crack' with a fast dry top coat. I also really wish they made this print in a white!

You can find this lace foil here for only $6.92.  KKCenterHK is a great website to find tons of nail art.  If you haven't visited this site yet you should really go and check out all they have to offer for nail decor, make sure to use my 10% off code below!!

Bow Holiday French TIps

 photo me_zps76cb00ed.png
Happy Monday! I hope you didn't miss me to much last week, I am so happy our work Christmas Party is over. I am also happy that I have two more work weeks till 12days off! It really doesn't feel like Christmas time already even though we have snow and I have put up all my Christmas Decorations. Nonetheless I have my first holiday mani to share today.

Zoya: Lisa and Giovanna
Orly: Platinun
RCM: Candid Moment

I choose to do this simple french tip over the weekend since I was still tired out from all the work last week. Also my nails are finally at the perfect length to pull off french tip!
Can you believe it's already Christmas time?

Essence Review, Part 2

 photo button_zpsc89bd61d.png

It's almost Friday! I hope you enjoyed my first review for Essence products. Today I am going to be showing you the other polish I received from Essence with nail art products as well.

Essence: Iced Strawberry Cream
Essence: Gel Look Top Coat
Two coats, application was smooth and fast dry time.

For the next look I used french tip guide I received and also a small stamping kit shown below.

I wanted to compare the stamper and scrapper to other ones I own. You can see the scraper has smaller width which I assume is because you aren't working with full nail images, so the smaller width is ok. Also I don't use metal scrappers to prevent damaging the plate, plus metal on metal is the worse sound ever!

The stamper is about the same size as the large Konad (shown to the right of the essence stamper) However the stamper itself seems to be a much harder material. If you are used to the roll on method for stamping, this stamper works well. I also was not used to such a short handle, I guess I feel like I have better control with the longer handles.

Although there were some items that I didn't like about this stamping set, I do believe if you are just starting to get into stamping this is a great beginner set! I would say it is even better than the salon express. Check out the design I created with these products.

I simply love a classic french tip mani. I am a huge fan of french tip guides since I am not the best at achieving them by free hand. You get a good amount of guides and once again price is very reasonable! These products are also avaiable at your local Ulta store. Tomorrow I have the last of the goodies I received, think sparkles!

Stamping with French Tip

Today's mani is a simple stamping with french tip. It turned out looking kind of Christmas like, but I still love it. This gets me super excited for more Holiday theme mani's!
I started with one coat of China Glaze: Merry Berry, the sparkle is OPI: Excuse Moi, for stamping I used Sally Hansen: Silver Sweep on plate CH13. Top coat of Out the Door.
Are you getting excited for Christmas!?!

French Cheetah Mani

Today I decided to do a full nail stamping mani, the only problem I have with doing these is that my stencil for full nail images are not wide or long enough to cover my whole thumb and middle finger. So I actually had to repeat the design on the side of my middle finger with my nail pen, and to cover where the stencil stops at the top of my nail I added french tips.
Base color is Revlon Fast Dry: Varnished, two coats. Used Konad Special Nail Art Black for the stamping. Sinful Colors: Black on Black for the tips.
My nails are finally getting to the length where french tips look good, which makes me very excited! I do want to know how others are able to get full image nails stencils to cover the entire nail when having long fingernails??
